This is a man who has sacrificed the right to a life without pain.
He's a dentist - hence he already lives in a world of pain. You may need to be more specific about who actually experiences it though. What I want to know is why all of the so-called moderate, peace and animal-loving dentists aren't out on the streets denouncing this obvious wrong'un.
Makes you wonder if they aren't all just a bit....well...you know....closet big-game hunter fetishists.
I sincerely hope this ends his career. At least

I want him to die slowly and painfully whilst knowing the whole planet thinks he is a and is enjoying his pain.
Strangely his website seems to be struggling to cope at the minute:

I’m a total softie when it comes to animals. At the same time, I’m no vegetarian. I could never hunt something. Just don’t have that streak in me. But over the years I’ve heard a few interviews with American big game hunters, all of whom have come over quite well in my opinion. These tend to be people who have coupled a love of hunting (a perfectly acceptable pursuit in home territories for controlled populations like deer, birds etc) with a love for conservation. After all – they are the ones willing to hand a conservation charity tens of thousands of pounds for what is, to that organisation, a net gain.
They are also very clued-up on the political and environmental issues in the countries that they hunt in. They may be on the completely opposite side of the line from animal rights activists and naturalists, but they know just as much as they do.
I’ve come away with a sense that these particular chaps respect the animals and the methods used, but also - in places like Africa – appreciate the struggle conservation groups have in the face of corruption better than anyone. And on these big hunts, where the particular animal has been selected suitable – they know everything about that creature. They would not conceive of taking the shot without being totally sure this was their target
But you would never see these guys doing what this joker did. This to me stinks of greed, pure and simple. Are we to believe he found somebody he was willing to hand 35 grand to without doing so much as a cursory background google search?! And to be honest that sounds quite cheap for a large male lion. I reckon this was a case of “I’ve given you my money, you promised me a lion – hurry up and get me one. Any lion will do”.
It was a shoddy, careless and cruel act that completely undermines the work African conservationists do. I’d be very disappointed if I was to learn this was the norm amongst tourist hunters, after developing a little bit of respect for the ones with TV shows to plug.

He is believed to have been killed on 1 July but the carcass was not discovered until a few days later.
The ZCTF said the hunters had used bait to lure him outside Hwange National Park during a night-time pursuit.
Mr Palmer is said to have shot Cecil with a crossbow, injuring the animal. The group didn't find the wounded lion until 40 hours later, when he was shot dead with a gun.
The animal had a GPS collar fitted for a research project by UK-based Oxford University that allowed authorities to track its movements. The hunters tried to destroy it, but failed, according to the ZCTF.
On Monday, the head of the ZCTF told the BBC that Cecil "never bothered anybody" and was "one of the most beautiful animals to look at".
The six cubs of Cecil will now be killed by the new male lion in the pride, Johnny Rodrigues added, in order to encourage the lionesses to mate with him.
"That's how it works... it's in the wild. It's nature taking its course," he added.
About a century ago there were around 200,000 lions roaming across Africa but that figure has dropped to less than 30,000 in recent years.

Hopefully the power of media/social media will make this kind of activity obsolete - as the people who would hunt see themselves become social pariahs the demand will drop.
Horrible act and I hope the guy gets dealt with all appropriate legal measures. He's already going to struggle to a quiet life at home. For those espousing death and worse as a solution - I find it pretty distasteful. Two evil acts don't cancel each other out, they add up.

What a bunch of s. Or rather, whoever is managing their twitter account.Much though I'd like him to suffer for the rest of his life, sadly it won't be the case.
There's been other cases of this where someone has posted hunting photos on social media, and it has caused a media controversy for a few days. A week or two later it is forgotten and they can pretty much go on with their life.
There was a girl that did a simialar thing a year ago, huge huge media coverage for a short while, can anyone remember her name or what she looks like without checking? Probably not.
