Worth bearing in mind that some of us retired pensioners were late teens in the 'swinging sixties' - hate that expression. And have probably tried, used, experienced, seen, got totally trashed on more dope than most of the young pups can dream of. I've always been amazed given how relatively harmless weed is (I know skunk is a bit of different kettle of fish) and that it is illegal. And yet alcohol is considered fine, readily available and cheap. When Mr Nice (Howard Marks RIP) was a runner I went to one of his one man shows. Hilarious his explanation as to why it was made illegal. Similarly it's been a long time since I held a big lump of hash or a 35mm film canister. 9 bars were maybe 6x2 inches, inch thick? Not sure. t soapbar were far bigger than half a 35mm film case. No way you'd get an oz of brickweed in a canister that small.

I think it was a couple of hundred kilos a car when Howard was doing his runs.
