No it doesn't. I would never suppose to impose my behaviour on others - even if it's good behavious.
That's your opinion. Most will disagree. Obviously she was free to act as miserable as she liked. Which is why so many people have so little nice to say about her.
No - you actually DO agree. As you say, she WAS free to act how she pleased, however annoying it was. I wouldn't behave like that, I hope, and neither would you, based on what you are saying about yourself.

But I'm not going to judge others based on hearsay.

It's rather strange that those who speak about here on mainstream media are generally being nice about her whilst the comments on the internet are generally nasty - and usually posted anonymously. Or could it be that mainstream commentators are all a bunch of liars?

I would think they asked her friends first.

Those who didn't have anything nice to say probably declined to comment.

The dead are rarely, if ever, vilified in UK media.

If Katie Hopkins died tomorrow, even various Chakrabatis would be on C4 news saying 'I may have disagreed with her, but I respected her forthrightness and we can never get enough strong women in journalism, she'll be missed'.

I get she wasn't everyone's cup of tea and she could be unpleasant but she has still just died, give it a few days at least!
How many days do you think would be appropriate?

That question to number 3 please...

News speculation that she died after a fall resulting from a dizzy spell, with movement from her villa's chilly air con interior to hot exterior being cited.

Speculation, you can't can beat it but it still gets out and about.

I think however unpleasant she could be, and personally I found she grated on me she was part of our cultural history, for better or worse, everyone remembers Blind Date, long time ago now and I get nostalgic about stuff I could abide at the time

News I saw had it the other way round. She was coming back into the villa.

She's just had over 20 mins and on the local news here in the NW. They've wheeled out the standard Scousers, Gerry from the pacemakers, Stan Boardman, Jimmy Tarbuck et al, plus a huge amount of rent a grievers banging on about how they knew her and generally making up stories, along with some of them bursting into tears, and a few classics "one of our own", "working class girl made good", "never forgot her roots".

It's no wonder that Liverpool gets slated for its OTT grievance status when it's opened a book of condolence and the flag is flying at half mast at the Town Hall.

It's a load of crap, she was a bit part singer.

God help us when Sonya pops her clogs.

That about sums up my thoughts. As I posted earlier, the only corroborated story in the media of her bad behaviours is from that pristine of role models Ricky Tomlinson.

And a few anonymous cabin crew posters on the Internet, obviously.

Cabin crew using their real names to slag off passengers on the net wouldn't have a job for very long.

Meh, she's dead. I can't find it in myself to care very much, equally however I can't be bothered to vilify someone I never met on the grounds of misdemeanours alleged by other people I've never met, who appear to wish to remain anonymous. Funny old world.

The fact that she was virtually totally deaf and in constant pain from almost crippling arthritis probably had nothing to do with her grumpiness.

I wonder what I will be like if I ever end up with such ailments.
I'm a happy chappy and I have RA and hear only what I want to biggrin

Mine are in business (both employed and separate personal stuff) and so don't qualify for today's celebrity driven culture. Have a read of my obit and estate when I die if you want.

I read the first 5 pages of the thread linked on the previous page and didn't see anything too bad.

I'm not sure why I should consider the views of a few waitresses posting anonymously on the Internet as gospel mind....
