I mentioned earlier in the thread that the wearing of a yellow T-shirt could be classic misdirection, and that would point to one of the above in particular, but you're right it's a complex macropolitical scene.
thats why we just get drunk......

At least the skytrain keeps you cool on the stagger home. Assuming you're in BKK.

Been thinking about this...(yes, I know, dangerous) and studying the image of the bomber who dropped the rucksack.

The clothing, its considerably oversize. The hair, very bushy , I'd guess, a wig , thick horn rimmed specs. Very pronounced.

So, bomber appears to be a spectacle wearer , with a bushy head of hair, who wears distinctive badly fitting oversized clothes , he's a bit of a disaster, eh?

Except for one thing, I reckon its a she!! Why? Wig appears bulky, could easily cover a female hairstlye tucked under it. Why the baggy clothes ? To obscure body shape, hips and tits primarily. The glasses, well, to obscure facial features, relevant irrespective of sex.

Basically, the dress emphasises a non descript male , especially the wig, from my perspective, good reason to think the opposite.

So, were I looking for suspects, it would not only be those termed "he".
Its Bangkok, why on earth would you NOT expect and "tranny" terrorist?

Yup.

There will be no culprits found, either through incompetence or those in power being part of the plot.

they introduced him to the Greater Bangkok Phone book in a private room and he has given up another bomb maker's apartment full of suspect equipment.

Interestingly first reports said he was Turkish, but the Turkey Embassy says he is not one of ours and no one else has claimed him yet !!

What a bizarre situation, the bloke looks Middle Eastern and that explains the unfamiliar language he spoke so surely he has nothing to do with local politics but still no terrorist group has owned up

Not that normal.

To put it in perspective the policeman I knew who was a smart guy, 10 years on the job and decent English was earning about 16k Baht or £800 a month. Even if that's divided between 10 people it's a chunk of cash.
