Can someone do a definitions post for this thread? I'm lost with all these new words to describe people.

I have no problem with Transgender people, I've met a few and they've all been thoroughly nice. It's a thorny subject though. A man who is now a women should be able to be treated as an equal but there are fundamental differences and in the arena of sport this causes rather a problem.

I don't know the answer though.

What no symbol for NPN bipolar transistors?

That's transphobic that is.
What have you got against PNP transistors?
Mainly the amount of static you get when trying to tune into Long Wave stations.

I definitely identify as a Nurgle.

Although as all the fashionably lefty people say, my identity is fluid. Or something.

I dont think men are scared of transgender women but I think most straight men are terrified of being labelled gay, having sex with someone who was born a man rates pretty highly on the "Might get called a gayometer" and most blokes want to be known for loving birds, beer, cars, football etc etc, it would reduce the level of respect with your peers, I think secretly many men would "fk the crack of dawn if it had hairs" so if said transgender woman doesnt look like a hairy arsed 20 stone prop forward on a hill-arious wacky rugby dress as a woman night out then I reckon quite a few would say what the hell in private.

I am not homophobic in the slightest but I just dont fancy men, the look, act, smell and feel wrong. I think most transgendered women would not be convincing enough to overcome that factor but I guess some may be actually more convincing and attractive than some actual women.

Then there is always that, what would it be like factor, would penetrating a "man made" vagina feel the same as a natural one, I am sure it would work as, after all it will work in pretty much anything given enough effort biggrin there is a massive variation in original equipment ones as well.

A chap I knew went to Thailand and was chatting to some heterosexual males, one of which was telling his tale of banging a ladyboy that evening and how awesome it was, not a hint of shame or embarrassment, apparently a swordsman of some experience and rated it in his best ever experiences, I admire his honesty and lack of prejudice, even if its a bit sleazy shagging ladyboy prostitues in Thaliand, he did apparently point out that "it wasnt one of those that still had a cock", well you have got to have standards !

I don't. I don't think any man I know or have known would give a toss about being incorrectly thought gay. I certainly wouldn't. I think the whole "phobia" angle is completely made up to draw attention to themselves, whether "they" are gay, bi, transsexual, asexual, multisexual, or just an abusive PC loony. I think much the same of the "super special sciency language" they have to use to emphasise the differences between people while screaming that they want equal treatment.

Who gave the social studies twerps an "ology" anyway? grumpy

There is absolutely nothing scary about a man that dresses as a woman and fancies other men.

Males can now join, and lead, the girl guides.

Boys who identify as female will now be allowed to join the Girl Guides, Brownies and Rainbows as part of radical changes to the organisation’s single-sex policy, it has emerged.

A document sent out to leaders last week explains membership will be judged on “ self-identity” rather than biological gender , which means boys between the ages of five and 14 will be able to join a group without having to undergo medical treatment or dress as a girl.

The same also applies to adults wishing to become leaders.

Does that mean that this chap could self identify as a woman and become a leader?

Scouts has for a long time allowed boys and girls to participate. Why don't Guides drop the 'girl' bit and allow boys to go?

Edit, 1st and only comment on that article: "This is great news. The headline is wrong. They are not "boys" if they identify as female. They are girls."

Mental.

Idiotic, ignorant and offensive statement. Many, many women are born with or develop the inability to conceive and carry a child to birth.
Well said

Some of the posters on here really need to grow up.
Actually although I don't agree with his statement I do understand it, and don't think it deserves so much aggression.

When a couple come together the man, or woman may have an expectation of children. For a lot of couples the inability to have children is a relationship ending full stop.

To go into a relationship with someone with open eyes knowing they can't have children is one thing. To go into a relationship with one side knowing they can't have children but not admitting to this is wrong IMHO.

yes It is very insulting to men to presuppose that all they ever want or get from a relationship with a woman is sex, so clearly we would be happy with a transgender 'woman' and our only possible objection must be an "ism" or a "phobia". Zeitgiest. This one sucks.
