Men discover mythical buried secret Nazi train of gold...
Discussion
Now that is an interesting development. Because If I was a post war Nazi soldier who knew where the train was hidden, I wouldnt go near it either. And i certainly wouldnt be telling anyone until I was on my deathbed for obvious warcrime reasons. So it all rings true.
It still doesnt quite feel "right" though. Its all a bit "cliche"

Seems a bit of a coincidence that The Monument Men has just been released on video. This has got to be a Columbia/Fox/Clooney stunt. Whatever the true story, it'll be more interesting than the film.It still doesnt quite feel "right" though. Its all a bit "cliche"
I wonder if they are looking for funds and the bloke in charge is a Nigerian prince.

For the avoidance of doubt (if true) is this hiding in some "man made hill" ?
Very easily, have you seen the constructions the Nazis built underground, the Me262 factory, Mittelwerk and many more including this one only rediscovered recently - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2888975/Va...And Project Reisse - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Riese
So I think there are plenty of underground locations many still not found or fully explored that it could have ended up.

Its like those spitfires found buried in the far east. Ground radar and everything..
I don't think they ever had images of actual planes, just suspected disturbed soil/voids.Anyway, in the end the search was never thorough, messed up by weather/politics/security/lack of money.
