Police appeal after female cyclist pushed to ground by ped
Discussion
Interesting incident.

Seems innocuous, ped seems to accuse female rider of flipping the bird, but then full bore shoves her into the road. Which is pretty shocking behaviour.
The images are pretty clear so one imagines he'll be identified soon.

He's got anger issues that chap. And it shows just how ridiculous things can escalate.
She is a bit sanctimonious, I am sure, and he is a billy big balls, and it is another case of when two nobs collide. However, pushing her off a stationary bike into the road, when traffic is about is unfathomable. He needs a custodial for that, IMO. Had he legged it after her and given her a rant etc, that would have been "sufficient" if not actually justified, since the window licker was wandering across the road with traffic bearing down on him.
He will be losing his job and going into hiding once found though, I'm sure.

Totally disproportionate reaction, exactly the kind of wker you never want to meet. Definite anger issues. It was an over-reaction for sure. But he definitely wouldn't have done it for no reason.

Yet another cyclist provoking someone then posting the footage on YouTube!
I'm never quite sure if I'm being trolled on threads like this. Assuming I'm not, I often wonder what a cyclist would have to do to be an innocent victim in some people's minds. Or conversely, what the reaction would be if a pedestrian got angry and did something really bad like scratch a car.wolves_wanderer said:

Stick her on a bike though and it's apparently fine.

Why not just cycle past and say nothing? If you cycle in London you have to avoid people crossing the road all the time. Yet another cyclist provoking someone then posting the footage on YouTube!
Just had this discussion with my girlfriend who was placing no blame on the cyclist. People in the road is part of riding in London, if you want to provoke someone, at least ensure that you can either take anything else that comes your way, or remove yourself from the area pronto Zod said:
I wonder what the reaction on PH would have been if the woman had been driving a car and had sounded her horn at the guy who had then kicked the side of her car.
^ This.If she'd been in a car and he'd so much as touched it then people would be calling for his head. Yet because she's a cyclist it was obviously somehow her fault. This place dismays me sometimes.

I'd imagine the balanced view might be that two bellends unite.
Should reiterate however I absolutely do not condone pushing the rider into the street. On the contrary I think it's reprehensible and I hope they catch the guy. However, would it have happened if she hadn't flipped him the bird?
