this is some of the problem with modern politics, I am more interested in what is between his ears than his tailor.
There's a few experiments out there where a sample were able to do a pretty good job of guessing who won local senate elections based on nothing more than a seconds exposure to each candidate's image. "Looking like a leader" seems to count for a lot.If Corbyn can convince more people that serious politicians don't need to wear a drab suit with white shirt and red/blue/yellow self-colour tie, he will have done the country a great service.
It's already happening in the workplace so the world of politics will eventually catch up. It's not what your wear, it's what you do that matters.

I don't agree with Corbyns policies, I think in power they would be generally bad for the long term prospects of the country.
However, I respect that he (appears to be) a politician of principal.
Recent stories such as louise Mensch attempting to discredit him by tweeting google suggestions linked to Corbyn (not realising its based upon her own history) and even the announcement of yet more appointments to the house of lords demonstrate what a self interested shower we have today.
I think Corbyn would be effective in opposition, where as another poster mentioned you don't necessarily need credible policies but only need to ensure the guy in charge does a good job, my only concern would be he would be so good that he may gain enough support to win a future election.

Which is why we have an idiot in a smart suit as a PM.It's already happening in the workplace so the world of politics will eventually catch up. It's not what your wear, it's what you do that matters.

He doesn't have to lead the country and probably wont, but for the next four years he has to make sure that Cameron does, and does it properly.
If he does a good job then the public will decide if they want him to have the main job.
Agreed, we must have a strong opposition to Government. If he does a good job then the public will decide if they want him to have the main job.
