What's to say they will come to harm in Syria though? It's made out that if they get there they will meet a fate worse than death?.
Whats to say when they get there they will just lead a normal (Syrian) life.
Why should we care?

If the kids are being forced against their will then I'd like to see them brought back and given the chance to make their own mind up, they don't deserve to be judged for the idiocy of the parents.

As far as the adults are concerned, fk off to ISIS and stand under the trajectory of a 500 pound bomb.
Please.

The adults are morons who I would support never being let back in. As is usual though, they got kids brainwashed on religion and taking them along too, who I do feel sorry for.

Do you not find it strange that they are going to a country that massive numbers of people are going to incredible lengths to escape from ? Normal life appears to be planning how you are going to get into Europe.

Yes SWMBO mentioned this I find it very perplexing - unless of course it's all moody to plead their case when they get to Calais

The reasons there is an attempt to stop them I'd hope is that the children are completely innocent and deserve to be protected from the wishes of their stupid and evil mother by the state that they are citizens of

I have an 8 week old baby at home and the thought that someone could willingly take their own children into such a dangerous situation, where the established order has been shown to use rape, execution, brutal torture & murder against those who don't share their belief system, is simply mind blowing

There have been many cases early on of people going to support what they thought was a popular uprising against a despot, realising that they were actually joining another suppressive force, and trying to return. Not everyone (and certainly not now) fits this category but these people deserve more sympathy that those leaving currently in my opinion

I would say ahhh similar to a Jewish state like Israel? But then Prestwich and Golders Green and probably other areas are similar to Israel? So why not move house confused
They could move house but they are still living in a country where the Muslim population is around 5% and they will never get the pure Islamic lifestyle, under Islamic state territory they can with very strict sharia law enforced
Governments have been quoting that 5% figure for 20+ years.

Average Muslim family size = 6 kids

Average others family size = 2 kids

Sorry, I don't believe the 5% figure.

I'm wrong, 4.5%: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_the_United_... as of 2011.

I believe we will see this more and more, Islamic state want to ultimately create a state/country where people live under the purest form of Islam. To some Muslims this will be appealing
Yeah till they realize what a load of murdering, rapist, homophobic morons they are.
"Purest form of Islam" - really!
Not too sure many Muslims would agree with that - but I stand to be corrected.

Google sharia law and you will see what inspires Islamic state, I don't think most Muslims would want to live under these rules but there are some who will. Let's not forget some countries impose a strict sharia law (although many use a modern less barbaric version). The number of people sentenced to death in Iran, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan is scary

I say let them go, as many as want to.
If UK passports held. Revoke them.
If they have been made British citizens. Revoke citizenship as well
fk 'em. Let's not waste time or money on these people

Once this happens will IS keep within their own borders with this pure Islam ?
I do not think they will ever stop trying to take over the Middle East and launch terrorist attacks against the west, and at the moment I can't see them being stopped either
Unfortunately there is widespread ignorance on this point;

Islam desires a Caliphate. A Caliphate without borders. Islam recognises on Islam, no borders, no continents, no identity other than muslim.

There is nothing but Islam. One true God, Mohammed was his prophet. None of us have any right whatsoever to believe anything else, or live any other identity.

Non muslims need to wake up to this fast.

We're talking about a religion that calls not for any sort of co-existence at all, but for the destruction of anything and everything un-islamic
Absolute rubbish.
Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance. It respects women. It respects Christianity and most of all it respects everything else.
Anyone who thinks different is wrong and deserves to have their insides ripped out and roasted on a communal bonfire.
However just on the off chance I am wrong and Islam is a bit "iffy" then it will be ok as we will soon have Jeremy Corbyn in charge and he will be able to have a nice chat with any of the bad mullahs and it will all be sorted. In fact we will all be able to sing a song on a cliff top holding a bottle of coca cola and joining in the chorus of "I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony etc"
Thank you

Nail on head here. I advise anyone/everyone to read up on Islamic history. It sure gives some context to what's going on in the world today!

yes

And there is a group that has provided a caliphate which imposes the early version of sharia law and that is why we are seeing people leaving Europe to live under his rule

Provide flights to bring the family back to the UK, arrange welfare officer visit to identify any issues and if the children are in danger( like being taken to a war zone for example), UK government found to be at fault, public apology, compensation

Or hopefully the kids get taken away from the family and the adults get investigated and charged as appropriate with support of terrorism or something and jailed for a long time and then deported.
