Centralise over decentralised where decisions are made locally to solve issues they face. .... Seems like Holyrood is turning into exactly what Westminster is for the UK.
SNP <> Logic!Holyrood is already worse than Westminster in terms of bureaucratic waste and naval pondering.

Technically it is not 6000 jobs its more likely something like 10s of thousands of jobs due to industry surrounding Faslane.
But too easy to forget and make it simply about permie Faslane staff.

Nissan have secured 6k jobs with 100M so I agree. Typical government inefficientcy. But too easy to forget and make it simply about permie Faslane staff.
In the event that the SNP somehow manage to get a referendum vote through for independence, the UK government can just tell them that Faslane remains part of the UK, fkity bye.
There won't be a referendum before 2027 at the earliest, because the Conservative government has no incentive to allow one. They had one in 2014. The SNP said they accepted that the question was settled for a generation. The Scottish government has no power to hold a referendum without UK government consent.
