Joyless feminism

IMDb has adopted the "F" rating for categorising films. "Inspired by the Bechdel test (which requires a movie to have at least two women in it who talk to each other about something besides a man), it is designed to examine the percentage of which movies are written, directed and starred in by women."
If a full house of criteria is met the film is awarded a Triple Rating and will join such luminaries like Frozen, Bridget Jones's Baby and American Honey.
Don't forget to visit the retail stand.

Jenny Murray of that women's hour program on the radio is in trouble for taking the Germaine Greer stance of say transgendered women aren't really women because they've not suffered like a real women from a lifetime of hardship. Bit odd on it?

Surely most 'real women' would also fail to be categorised as such based on the criteria that they must have suffered a lifetime of hardship. The militant femo on Sky earlier said that unless you've lived a life of fear of rape & assault, not been paid the same as a bloke and constantly objectified, disrespected and abused - you'd have no idea what it would be like to be a woman from birth.

I wasn't surprised.

Ah, but I believe she also referred to trans women having enjoyed the "privileges" of growing up male.

Ah the old Feminist approach of highlighting male privilege and female burden and forgetting female privilege and male burden. Definitely one of the most successful propaganda movements of all time! Off topic I know, but given she is presumably pretty well paid, you'd think she could afford some different outfits instead of the shapeless black top with folded scarf draped over one shoulder.

I guess the main goal of working is to find a job / role you enjoy that allows you to live and provide / support your family, and all the stress and hassle that goes with it.
She has never had the financial hassle to it, yes she didn't get to choose her job but she could step down - there is a good number two in waiting.....
Does she worry about glass ceilings and the fact that she may not be paid as much as a "king" ?
