Baffling why they think a mediocre actress and frequent clothes horse, who's never had a proper job in her entire life, is in any way qualified to speak on either workplace or women's issues redfaceconfused

It's like being told about the environment by Emma "Jet Set" Thompson.

Safeline is a charity that can support..... please call 0808 800 5008 today.

The aim of the helpline is to help plug a gap in the availability of legal advice so that women can get the right help they need to hold their employer and harasser to account.
A quick google suggests numerous good resources are already available. What's better about her version of it?

Who would you suggest?

Charities and other similar institutions tend to have famous patrons.

I wouldn't say it's about being qualified but if you can get the airtime to promote the service because of who you are there's a much greater chance of it being known about and actually used.

Even someone off Love Island who's had a job for 5 minutes would be preferable.

Seems pretty well qualified to me! Considering her job.

I think the biggest issue I'd have with it is she's "dissing" existing charities/helplines who already do valuable work. Surely the better thing to do would have been to endorse the 1 or 2 that there are?

Don't really see the point of Camra as pubs now have multiple real/cask ales on tap, a far cry from the 90's were it was just lager.
Have spoken to some Camra activists at my local and they don't seem to like the fact that real ale is now so popular, normal young people drink it these days not just hipsters.

A legal expert on sex attacks has revealed how she was targeted by strangers on a Virgin Atlantic flight who sent her harassing messages directly to her seat's screen.

Jessica Van Meir, from Atlanta, Georgia, shared images of the exchange on Twitter after the flight on Saturday, where one passenger nine rows away told her she was a 'tidy babe'.

Why didn't she just turn the seat to seat chat off if she was so offended?

Why put your complaint in the public domain on twitter?

Is she really an expert in sexual harassment cases, or just happens to work at the legal firm as a tea lady.

And whats's so wrong with being called a tidy babe anyway. in any case if seems there's a chance the message was meant for someone else anyway.

Tea lady with a degree from Cambridge, that would be likely rolleyes

I can see how she would probably rather not have some creep send her unsolicited messages for all to see, and then spend the rest of a flight wondering who the fk this dingus was and why he picked her out.

Would you be the kind of guy who would do this, and if not, why not?

Pulling a Jussie smollet? happens to be her speciality.

If true and let’s say it is, then she shouldn’t have to face that, maybe I’m just naive but who the fk would send a message like that ever. Just seems fking strange.

1. The messages all say which seat they came from.
2. One, which is only partly legible, says , "Sorry, wrong seat".
3. She said, "The flight attendants were helpful and dealt with it swiftly."

I agree that it does seem like a stupid feature to have onscreen.

Or did she get pissed that the chap said "sorry, wrong seat" hehe

All joking aside though it's not the most elegant way to chat someone up

Bantz init lol. rolleyes It's just fking rude mate, there's plenty of examples of over-the-top joyless intersex feminazi nonsense without tortuously justifying inappropriate boorish behavior.

'soz wrong seat', yeah right...
