Less likely to start murdering schoolmates yes, but I would imagine far more likely to start blowing stuff up in general.

They obviously cocked up, but I can quite see why.

Fair play to Obama for inviting the lad the White House to show him his clock. If the kid was British he would probably have invitations from politicians wanting to see something that sounds very similar.

You would. Imagine. Fourteen year old muslim kids in Texas are not more likely to 'start blowing stuff up in general'. You made that up.

The boy showed clock to engineering teacher. It takes all of 2 seconds for anyone who looked at the 'clock' to see that it's not a bomb but badly re-assembled 70s clock.

That's why I said "imagine" rather than "know." Islamic terrorism is the most high profile form of terrorism in the world at the moment. Is it not?

You can 'imagine', not because there is a rational reason to, but because you are you. Like a low-rent version of Adam Sandler from V. Islamic terrorism has nothing to do with this, unless you 'think' that all muslims are potential terrorists.

More that many terrorists are Muslims, than all Muslims are terrorists.

This habit of arguing against what you assume I mean rather than what I actually say is a bit daft.

What habit? Note 'unless' and 'potential'. The boy has nothing to do with islamic terrorism, and analogy with rifle case was more than a 'bit daft'.

Even if he has form for being the class clown, handcuffing him to remove him from the school and for images of that to be released to the public domain is hardly proportionate.

But then if the image hadn't been circulated on Social Media would we have known about it?

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if his father engineered this whole thing and I'd guess he is rubbing his hands together now at the prospect of 15 million dollars, which is probably far more than he was ever hoping to extort from this scam. I've got no sympathy at all for these parasitic scumbags.

Generally my first thought when I hear of these typically 'Murican cash grabs.

So you think the father might have deliberately placed his son in a position where he was arrested and could have possibly been shot and killed, on the off chance he could get some compo?

I'd say that's a new level of moronic but then this IS N,P&E......
