It's not about what was in the documentary, it's what's stated on their official website.

They as much a racist group as the BNP, National Front, EDL, Stormfront etc.
I've just had a gander at their website, wheres the racism stated?

How many of the BF are pedos (I guess 0) now on the other hand the BBC have/had a few, so who are the nastier...
That's a very strange thing to say indeed.

What on earth could possibly make you think that the percentage of paedophiles within the membership of Britain First is any less than that within the population as a whole, let alone to assert that there is not a single one therein?

I'm not picking on you here, I'd make exactly the same enquiry if someone else claimed that there was probably not a single urophage within the massed ranks of the RSPB or that not a single membership card of the National Trust was in the hands of a gerontophile.
Indeed, it seems a very odd statement to make.

Well these bunch of vile tts have just had their best week ever as a political movement - politicians and the press have played right into their hands by making such a big deal out of the idiot over in DC re-tweeting some Britain First content. Their social media mentions, google news results etc have gone through the roof.

It seems a peripheral group of 1,000 or so but then I look at the 31,372 votes it received in the London mayoral elections alone.

It will benefit hugely from trump tweets.

They may find that having the spotlight turned on them by Trump doesn't do them any favours longer term - they get by flying relatively under the radar for most people.

1.2% of the vote, beaten by the Women's Equality Party AND the Liberal Democrats so still pretty peripheral I'd say.

IME the far-right have always had a core support of <5%. The party's name just changes very 5-10 years.

There was a Facebook post earlier today from "Britain Furst" which stated that Big Ben was going to be renamed "Big Mohammed" and that you should share to stop it happening.*

  • - something like that, the exact details escape me.
Britain Furst is a parody group taking the piss. Also I'm sure that Ice T image was coined up by the same group, but it looks like some meathead has taken it seriously

Are they still a going concern with money in the bank, or is this a fine that those in charge will never have to pay?

Who can tell? The fines are for not keeping correct and proper financial records and also failing to re-register the party. Administrative cock-up, so possibly even they don't know. hehe
