The question the Stonewall chap asked was very pertinent I thought:

"If this [nutter] opened fire on a congregation in a synagogue then would it be denied that it was an antisemitic attack?"

The chap said that there were various ways of interpreting cause: it was a terrorist attack. It was also an attack against gays. I can see no argument against that. To suggest any terrorist attack has just one simple cause is quite clearly wrong.
Yes, it would be an antisemitic attack. Ultimately though, it would have been an attack on something which the attacker felt was non-Islamic in exactly the same way as the Bataclan attack was. If there's a word for an anti-Heavy Metal motive then it would be that too but that wouldn't have been the ultimate driving reason. It's only antisemitic because we have already invented a name for it.

The underlying reasons for these people are to Islamify the world and to attack things which are contrary to Islamic teachings as far as the attackers see them. They are all extreme pro-Islamic attacks; the specific communities targeted in specific attacks are secondary issues. There most certainly one simple cause for Islamic terrorism - they want to make the world subservient to their particular extreme view of Islam. The communities they attack are not 'causes' they are, in these peoples minds, 'reasons'.

Another piece by the journalist who wrote the original article in the OP.

The Left Chose Islam Over Gays. Now 100 People Are Dead Or Maimed In Orlando

1 - It's on breitbart.com who are somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun.
2 - Milo Yiannopoulos, the writer, is a self-confessed troll so I wouldn't take everything he writes seriously.

BUT, I think it's an interesting debate to have - the left does not tolerate, and rightly so, homophobia from neo nazis and the far right yet when it comes to religious based homophobia they are all too often silent.
The whole attitude of "the left" towards Islam is incredible, and probably the greatest anomaly of our age.

I suspect there's an element of "my enemy's enemy is my friend" to it all. Communism and fascism failed, environmentalism is one outlet for it but Islam is a much more developed system of totalitarianism, it's readily available and it isn't white protestant capitalism.

If it was carried out because of the murderers religious beliefs towards gays then there is a sensible argument that it was an attack on western culture and not gays specifically. Muslim nut jobs attack various sections of Western civility which they take objection to not because they don't like that particular thing but because it is part of non-Muslim culture.

The savages who attacked the Bataclan weren't attacking it because they had a problem with Heavy Metal music or public joviality, they did it because Heavy Metal music and public joviality are things they see as incompatible with true Islamic beliefs. If the latest nutter did it because he saw being gay as contrary to Islamic beliefs then it was no more an attack on gays than the Bataclan was an attack on popular music.

After seeing the images of the American gay bar terrorist in the newspaper yesterday I'm not surprised they're saying now on the news that he was a customer of the club, used gay dating apps and had done for a while, a straight man would never take selfies that good.

Once again this is not a case of religious zeal, a power play by some nefarious masterminds or a start to the downfall of civilisation, it's just a mentally ill/confused idiot with access to military hardware.

Shame on you America that you let this happen, over and over again, when will you realise that to stop people murdering innocents you need to stop allowing people access to weapons?

What made him a confused individual?

Religion. Thousands of years of persecution of perfectly natural human beings based on the insane ancient tribal stories of Judaism, copied and spread by the insidious Christian and Muslim faiths.

Spread so widely that its effects are still felt. In the Daily Mail not even deigning to mention the worst mass shooting in US history on its front page. In Sky News refusing to allow that mass shooting to be called homophobic.

"hate the sin, love the sinner"

I'm going with "hate the religion, love the believer".

It's not enough to stop the questioning at the killers motives.

Well there is a lot of religious people, including many millions of extreme and zealoted ones, of various doctrinal fashions who do not resort to mass murder to get their message across.

The common factor is all shootings is they all involve a gun and as that's an inanimate physical object it should also be the easiest thing to control the existence of.

On the ascendency though.

planes yesterday, guns today, bombs, chemicals, knives tomorrow - few golfers/bridge players/non-muslims amongst the perpetrators.

There were a number of articles last week warning that Islamic attacks will increase during the month of ramadan. There has been propaganda videos released which states that the rewards for martyrdom are greater during the month of ramadan, this same video called upon lone attackers to attack both Europe and the USA.

There’s just as many (%wise) Muslim gays as Kuffar gays, - Muslim gays live in turmoil… - how can they tell their family, what will their reaction be. On one hand their faith is deploring who they are – there entire family and community may disown them if they find out… - what a horrible situation to be in? Obviously you have no choice over what you find sexually attractive.

There are Muslim gays out there who will go to a gay club one night, then wake up in the morning feeling extremely ashamed of what they have done. This Orlando homosexual Muslim murderer was probably in complete turmoil by continually disgusting his God through an inability suppress his sexual desire for other men.

Believing that his God rewards people more during ramadan, seems to me that this gay Muslim thought he would really please Allah by killing as many gays as possible, during ramadan, in order to make up for his own crimes. Killing himself was a bonus also as he hasn't got to live with his inner turmoil and shame anymore.

So in summary, religion is inhuman and mental.
