well maybe when it's an orchestrated thing similar to what happens every-time some pictures are drawn of Mo, or screaming for sharia law then we'd say not in my name quite vocally. As it is the closest we get to those are the whack-jobs of the westboro baptist church when a lot of people say "nope, they don't speak for us" and indeed keep on saying this. Where do we get the moderate Muslims saying "those nut-jobs protesting pictures of Mo or screaming for sharia are nowt to do with me?".... Oh you're not?

I live around & know lots of Muslims, & haven't seen or heard any of them protesting about a daft cartoon or demanding Sharia Law.But that's maybe because they're just normal people like me, who just want to get on with their lives, earn a few quid & bring up their children in a peaceful democracy.
I'm assuming you don't ever encounter these people, but likewise read the Daily Mail or The Sun voraciously.

There was a report on TV of some chap who wanted to demonstrate against having the christian version of sharia law (chraria law?) enforced on his local court by having the 10 [sic] commandments festooned over the entrance and when he mentioned this to the local law enforcement he was warned off.

Errm-abortion clinics in many parts of the U.S are constantly picketed and protested by anti abortionists or the 'pro life' movement. They scream and shout and attempt to intimidate the women who go in and the staff that work there. For some women getting an abortion literally means running a gauntlet of protestors waving graphic images and horrible slogans in their faces.This is not the westboro baptist church-this is a large number of people across the country-and an even larger proportion support this. Abortion is vehemently politically opposed almost all in the Republican Party and the rehetoric recently has been particularly vitriolic. In the wake of the shootings many Americans have actually said they support the shooter-openly on Twitter and many others are applying caveats to what he did.
So yes-its perfectly reasonable to ask for Christians and anti abortionists to march and say not in my name given the constant demands made on other religions to do the same in any other scenarios.
