Livestream of the police scanner with 65000 listeners. How this is possible is a mystery to me. You'd expect it to be encrypted because he could be listening to this on his phone.

Yep. While Trump and co worry about the possibility that a Muslim terrorist may slip in with the few Syrian refugees we're taking I'm more concerned by the home grown Christian nutters that kill daily here.

not sure is /s is needed.. But if the guy was slightly brown in colour it would be a 'terrorist'. In all fairness this does now fall under the wide net of 'domestic terrorist' that the US likes to cast.. However anyone sensible will know its not..

Anyways, I feel that some of the crazier Reps have some blood on there hands for this riling up people against PP etc.

/edit add:

Between 1977 and 2006 there have been seven murders, 17 attempted murders, three kidnappings, 152 assaults, 305 completed or attempted bombings and arsons, 375 invasions, 482 stalking incidents, 380 death threats, 618 bomb threats, 100 acid attacks, and 1,254 acts of vandalism on PP.

I'd been following some of the U.S. politics recently and the amount of bile and vitriol aimed at planned parenthood is amazing. For all of that abortion makes up a very small proportion of what they do-that means there's been constant political attacks against them. Then earlier this year some heavily doctored footage of a pp meeting came to light that has been jumped on by the republicans and some plain false evidence used against them.

Unfortunately it adds up to make this attack not really that surprising frown And there are already people on Twitter saying that if there was a pregnant woman who got shot she would have deserved it.

Here he is, didn't take long. I'm surprised you manage to lift your arm to type anything with the size of that chip on your shoulder.

hehe

Technically, even with a large lump on your shoulder, you should be fine to lift your arm up to type as you only need to use your front delts rather than your traps.

The political right wing in the US really seem to hate Planned Parenthood.

Fox News devotes an extraordinary amount of time and energy to demonising PP as a den of knaves.

They need to vet US citizens for gun ownership the same way they currently vet Syrian refugees.

From wikipedia:
"Services provided by PPFA include birth control and long-acting reversible contraception;[37] emergency contraception; breast and cervical cancer screening; pregnancy testing and pregnancy options counseling; testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases; sex education; vasectomies; LGBT services; and abortion.[38][39]"

Asides from cancer screening the American right could probably find something to hate about everything in that list. Abortion is the subject that brings out the worst responses.

There hasn't yet been confirmation on what the killer's motivations were-although given the current climate against planned parenthood and the fact that they are labelled murderers by their opponents it wouldn't be surprising if it's an anti-abortionist.

If only the foetuses had guns; only a good bunch of cells can stop a bad guy with a gun.

So far so predictable:

Suspect identified
Obama calling for more gun control
Right wing moving to distance themselves from any blame and saying of course gun control won't work

I thought you meant this one

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/11/28/man-kills-mis...

Only in america could the amount of guns lead to anyone saying this -

"This senseless tragedy is a shock for the Waffle House family."

Indeed.
