The UK is to increase the humanitarian aid it gives to Yemen to help millions who are suffering in the war-ravaged country, International Development Secretary Priti Patel has said. She told the BBC that the government would spend an extra £37m this year, bringing the total to £100m.

I suspect £100m is a drop in the ocean to the ££billions raked in by said arms sales. I believe we are the world's 3rd biggest arms supplier....

The US Republican-led Senate has approved a bill to end US support for the Saudi-led coalition war in Yemen. The bipartisan vote was 54 to 46, and is a rebuke to President Donald Trump's support of Saudi Arabia and its leader despite recent tensions. Mr Trump has vowed to veto the resolution should it pass through the Democrat-led House.
