After 9 months gestation and you are still popping out strawmen, I expected better from a pro troll like yourself. I did enjoy your earlier posts, but after a while they get very repetitive. Never mind, with a bit of luck, it will snow soon and you will be able to build snowmen instead.
Very true, but is the Farage liar or honest man?
Are you?

You're being silly - he did talk about resigning if he didn't get elected.
He didn't get elected.
He did tender his resignation.
UKIP National Executive Committee "refused to accept it"
So he withdrew his resignation.
See, was that so hard?

Does it really have to be so hard to be accurate?

Farage gets a load of flak for one sentence, yet nothing is said about DC saying he wouldnt pay the EU 1.7bn bill then paying,or blatantly saying he wouldnt cut tax credits in the leaders debate then trying to cut them and failing,as for Clegg and Compo there are no words.Farage stands up in the EU and says he wants them all fired,DC goes grovelling on a weekly basis, strange old world.

I'm sure you were, but in doing so, you actually highlight the basic problem with Greg's stance.

Accuracy Is important.

What point are you trying to make -- NF said he would resign. did resign, and then unresigned -

It doesn't matter why -

Irrelevant in a thread about UKIP. Are you so afraid to answer the simple question, do you think that other kippers will think less of you?

Quality entertainment.

And that sums you up to a tee. If you want quality entertainment, i.e. someone dancing to your tune in reality, then why not google utube for Dance of the Trolls...right up your street I would think.

Farage provides some of the best entertainment in UK politics. 'kippers doing impressions of the Flying Wallendas in trying to excuse/defend/justify his weasel behaviour is one prime example.

Just to clarify for the obtuse - by "weasel behaviour " I mean his pathetic excuse for "unresigning". If he can't even manage to "resign" from a post God alone knows why he should be trusted with anything important.

I don't remember trying to excuse/defend/justify his "so called" weasel behaviour.. I tend to take the "Diogenes" view of All politicians which is why there are very few that I trust regardless of the colour of their tie.

In the scheme of things NF's "insincerity" if that is what you want to call it, is very low on my list when deciding who to trust........ Though I must admit that, strange as it might seem, J R-M figures quite highly on my "sincere" list.

UKIP is in many ways Farage's baby, but in my view he has taken the party as far as he can. Under his leadership, they won the European elections, but that turned out to be a soft protest vote, and they failed to make a breakthrough at the general election. That breakthrough will not come with NF as leader.

This may have been partly due to poor local campaigning, but it was also due to NF. He deserves credit for putting the issue of immigration at the centre of political debate, but he is just too divisive, and too many people dislike him.

Carswell is right in arguing that UKIP need to become much more socially liberal in order to appeal to younger (ie under 50) better educated voters.

Really...

Is that honestly the best you can come up with?

weasel words?

So, let's put your whining about his resignation, come up with a genuine example of him lying or the like.

All good. But what about Farage, is he 'a man of his word'?

Had Farage said 'If I lose I'll tender my resignation', then fair enough, but that's not what he said, '...it's curtains for me. I will have to step down' is somewhat at odds with his continued leadership of the party. Weasel words at best.

Farage said:
“It is frankly just not credible for me to continue to lead the party without a Westminster seat.

“What credibility would Ukip have in the Commons if others had to enunciate party policy in Parliament and the party leader was only allowed in as a guest?

“Was I supposed to brief Ukip policy from the Westminster Arms? No – if I fail to win South Thanet, it is curtains for me. I will have to step down.”

Nope. But that's the one that I find funniest, especially when Kippers trun themselves inside-out trying to defend him

What about the statement that there were 7000 HIV cases, of which 60% were not British citizens? is that sufficient for you?

Farage, the poor man's Donald Trump, attempted to do what rock legends do at the end of a concert (yes he does think he's a legend), wave goodbye, then come back and do an 'encore' with a couple of more songs entertaining and populist propaganda speeches.

And how was he wrong?

Only this week there was something about this, basically saying the real numbers were much higher.
