We may not have a government willing to slaughter millions, but this is how it starts - just look at what's happening on the other side of the Atlantic. There are many, many similarities between the 1930s and today.
Immigration is not a right it is a privilege and to grant that privilege the destination country has every right to expect the immigrant to contribute both socially and economically.This does not justify a blanket ban on Muslim immigration (and neither had Trump put in place such a ban) but it does call for a far more intelligent immigration policy than has been followed thus far.
