Invite them in and then offer them a wad of cash to leave lol.

"The German government has budgeted more than €40 million (£35 million) to pay asylum seekers to voluntarily return to their home countries.

Migrants will be offered financial incentives of up to €1,200 (£1,000) each to leave Germany and withdraw their application for protection, with a lower amount of €800 (£700) if they choose to depart after being refused asylum."

What could possibly go wrong!

Still, it might make the UK slightly less attractive for a bit!!

They'll be a load more who were outside of Germany desperately trying to get in now to claim the dosh and then be back on the next boat.
I fancy a couple of grand extra - wonder if I can try for this.....

From what I have read from various sources on twitter it looks like pepper spray canisters in air conditioning, a similar incident being reported at a nearby train station.

Officials calling it an "accident". Twittersphere saying it looks suspiciously like another German coverup. Take yer pick.

Strange, seeing as they have a reputation for efficiency.

So, it would appear Bild's reports of a rioting mob of Arab menu in Frankfurt on New Year was completely fake.
At least one of the 'victims' wasn't even in the city at the time - https://www.thelocal.de/20170214/mass-sexual-assau...

The new Chatham House survey "What Do Europeans Think About Muslim Immigration?" is highly interesting, although as another PHer ably pointed out previously, if you're not sufficiently adept at swerving a person with a clipboard, your opinions are possibly not worth much. However, the numbers are staggering and significant and will be instrumental in what happens in elections not only in Germany, but also France.

This isn't really getting the press or social medial coverage that the initial 'attacks' received.

It's hardly surprising though is it? It was pretty obvious from the start that most of it was just racist made up clap trap playing to stereo types and people prejudice.

I imagine if all the new years attacks were made up it'd be getting a lot of coverage. One out of many being made up isn't much of a story.

Or let's get really cynical (or chuck my foil hat on)...

One made up story makes future attacks less believable...

it's not one out of many though. The claim that 1000 immigrants torched an old church in Germany also turned out to be utter rubbish.

Well, I never heard of that in the first place.

Anyway I'll take your word for it, immigrants are all nice and any stories to the contrary are made up.

Here you go - http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/01/03/dortmun... and the correction
https://www.thelocal.de/20170105/german-media-blas...

As your your comment in bold.... no one makes that claim around here (it's left to the likes of Lilly Allen to spout that nonsense). Just like any other large group of people, there's a percentage who aren't overly nice, a small percentage who are scum of the earth and the vast majority are fairly normal, with morals and standards not a million miles from those held by you or I.
