A six hour flight doesnt transport a third world mind and attitudes into a first world one.

Sadly those in ivory towers do not accept this basic fact.

Looks like it. The damage (some broken glass) would suggest the same - a bomb would cause a lot more damage.

Suspect it's hooliganism, then.

Even i wasn't convinced it'd be anything to do with terrorism. This just doesn't fit, however, looks like even im wrong.

Trouble is, many of these lone attackers are just 'mentalists' looking for a cause to legitimise their actions. If it wasn't Islam, it would be something else that could be conveniently hooked into on the Internet. This is what makes them so difficult to stop.

Plus, ISIS would claim credit for blowing up a balloon if it suited their PR machine.

Still surprised there's any kind of link in this case, though.

How long will you keep on telling yourself that? You do realise how absurd it sounds, at this point?

I suppose the only way for such claims to have some legitimacy about them is when further attacks are made in the name of another ideal and not Islam.
Who else is hiring at the moment?

Only sounds absurd for those hard of thinking.

It's of no surprise that the rise in popularity of the internet has brought about a cause to which 'mentalists' can subscribe. The last one in the UK had absolutely no links to Islam at all for most of his life, yet he found Islam and committed an act in the name of Islam. ISIS are capitalising on vulnerable 'mentalists' for their cause - and the internet is a convenient way to match 'mentalists' to causes. Therefore, if we could eradicate ISIS tomorrow, that hole would be filled by someone else.

Can you explain where your theory has taken place in the past ? Did the IRA have a worldwide following of mental people prepared to die to follow the cause, this type of action is deep rooted in religion, to ignore that is to ignore the primary cause .

The primary cause is the internet making it easy for nut-jobs to align with a group who will exploit them.

This can also be evidenced by the rise in teenage suicides - support and methods are much more easily found since the advent of widespread internet access.
