Probably, I don't know, my two daughters certainly don't feel threatened but then I live in the sticks.

They do go to Bonn and Köln quite a lot though, but that's to eat Sushi in over-priced restaurants that they can't really afford to be in.

It was the use of the word 'crisis' which made me twitch, because it is very far from a crisis.

In the context of the whole EU and for those fleeing Syria, it is a crisis.

As a minor example, you should see the chaos here in the UK, caused by the seige of Calais; last week Kent was, once more, chock full of international wagons who were waiting for ferry crossing to resume.

I suppose if your daughters were affected , it would turn into a crisis for you.

For me, the threat (where one did not exist previously) is unnerving. These savages need neutering to send a very tough message.

Literally, as I read this I am over hearing a conversation re the only woman in our team (ironically a long term Romanian immigrant in Munich, always wears a mini skirt) talking about her wish to but pepper spray because she now feels unsafe, as well other anecdotes of guys here on expat contracts who have felt threatened enough to change there habits in the last few months.

Still haven't seen anything personally thought.

Okay.
And then executing...

and then tarring and feathering...

and then hanging, drawing and quartering...

and beheading...

until they see sense and integrate. hehe

If you insist smile

But really these actions carry on for the punishment so far has not met the crime that threatens the safety of citizens of a generous host nation.

I agree, Sam. There needs to be a very harsh punishment for those caught bothering women as has been reported, maybe not chopping their tadgers off, but certainly something harsh.

My soon to be son in law is in the special Police over here and is really frustrated as a) he was looking forward to getting pissed over Karnival but has now been drafted into working to help Police the crowds in Köln, and b) says he's not allowed to kick the st out of anyone he finds committing something anyway as it's such a delicate situation.

Which is why I think highly of the German Police. Those guys have to put up with all the negative of society, and they still remain professional. Got a lot of respect for anyone who manages that.

Mayor of Bad Karma said:

"That’s easy, just don’t provoke them and don’t walk in these areas.”

“It’s technically not necessary for the girls to walk there,” he added. “There are alternative routes for going to school.”

So, there is no need for integration then, and no go areas are okay and expected? And it's okay for savages to take over areas of another people's country? As you note, FFS!

I think that the reaction of those who attended the meeting speak for themselves. The mayor is an idiot (we have just as many as the UK) and not affiliated to any of the main parties. A quick dig around shows he doesn't seem to be the brightest spark when it comes to his duty to the community. Abolishing some pathways and making pedestrians walk on roads seems to be a main bugbear.

He also has 2 young daughters so it will be interesting to see how he deals with them with regard to their choice of clothes!

Yes, a savage, and one who knew it was wrong and that it was a crime in his home country too. Nothing to do with different cultures. The man is just a child-raping beast.

Wonder what his punishment will be, if any.
