The elephant in the room is being taken seriously - common sense prevailing.

And remember, one of that crew is now in the UK.

So they had 'fled' that well known source of genuine asylum seekers... Iran. The immigration process people must be bloody useless.

"Oh look, we can get out of (enter st hole of choice) and get to Germany, Sweden, England (enter soon-to-be-st hole of choice) using Gullible's Travels. Just remember to chuck your passport and papers and say you're from Syria."

Yes however it is quite easy to ask questions about where someone came from in Syria and then ask what is the cafe on the main street called or some such question. This what they are doing. Also the Arabic accents vary widely by country and I am told that it is pretty easy to identify where people come from. However a lot of the "Syrians" can't even speak Arabic so that's sorted...
It seems that "from now on people without passports won't be accepted" or at least that is what is being said. Anyhow 3 people from where I live are being sent back tomorrow with another 100 or so going with them. Cheaper to pay for this than to let them stay here.

can we send 'em back to Iran? I suspect that their punishment might be more appropriate to their actions

Let me guess, all these "Lets talk about xxx country" is just another way of saying red indians/gollywogs, or todays equivalent, are getting into Britain via Germany and Sweden and France nilly willy. And being an ex Major in the Armed forces and Sunday Telegraph reader to boot, you don't jolly well like it.

If so continue. No one will spot your xenophobic Daily Mail prompted overly worried posts on the matter I'm sure smile

The ultra-left don't like a bit of honest debate about the dangerous problems and downsides of mass immigration - hence the knee-jerk racist slurs.

As the OP I guess that is aimed at me.

And your answer is no not in the least, I started this thread to talk about the seeming huge clash of culture highlighted by the report of mass sexual violence against women in part of Germany allegedly carried out but recent arrivals encouraged to enter Germany by the countries elected leader.

What I can't understand (and nor the Germans I know either) is why we've decided to pronounce Merkel's first name incorrectly. It's pronounced 'Anjela' just the same as it is over here.
Anyhow, as you were byebye

People have the rights to be worried about their future.
Do you think the west should have an open door policy?

A snap election and she would be toast.

First part correct.

Second, not a chance.

Europe is a relatively stable place, the rest of the world is a relatively unstable corrupt place.
When Africans et al choose to leave Africa that is the most racist choice possible, to leave their own kind to seek shelter in Europe rather than fix their homeland so that everywhere is calm.

As Europeans we need to be avoid destabilising Europe and try to export order not import chaos.
Given France has been under a state of emergency for months and the capital of the European Union was under lockdown for several weeks, that stability is being undeniably chipped away. I say undeniably, even though some people deny it.

Why should Hungary, stable population and country be forced to import unstable high birth rate Afghans (average family size 9.7) to be repopulated. Is it racist to say Afghans having 9.7 people in each family is leading to disaster there and that is why they have endless civil war and that is why according to insane UNCHR they have a legal right to settle in your country and carry on exactly as before to spread destabilisation.
I dont want a plague of humans, thats not responsible way to manage planet Earth.

People who want to exclude discussion, prevent publication of or deny realities are the fascists.
Thankfully via the internet we have free debate which we should rejoice in and encourage.
The EU is telling Hungary they must accept mass immigration, but Hungary is going to vote on it.
That is real democracy, asking the people.

Latest scandalous behaviour by IIs. 3 girls in Kiel were approached by Afghans, filmed with phones in a restaurant, films sent by phone to other IIs, around 20-30 more arrived to continue annoying them. Police called, then various attacks on police etc....
See following article (for those that can read german)
http://www.badische-zeitung.de/nachrichten/deutsch...

So Germans/Germany should put up with such behaviour?

She'll be gone as soon as the State elections in May (3 German States) show that the CDU have lost ground...

John, Merkel will turn the mood around in the same way she was populist with the Energiewende after the Fukushima disaster. If only those media reports of misogynic migrants outweigh those of suffering refugee families.
The parties don't do the politics, they do the populism.

In reality, you won't see what is reported in the media. Today is no difference to the time before the Syrian war. Munich will still have more policemen than Arab-looking people in the streets. School classes will still have more than 50% pupils with foreign background. Berlin will still have more Arab hipsters than policemen in the streets.

You will still meet petrol station attendants with Greek/Italian/Turkish roots, who a more German than the Swiss.

Like in the last 70 years, the town to avoid is Offenbach.

I doubt anywhere needs to be avoided, we are discussing an small incremental change, but i personally hope for a calmer more stable world, and a marginal change in the wrong direction is bad and bothers me. If that trend continued then the world will be a worse place. Syria was a stable country with minority Christians and Jews living alongside the various Muslims peacefully for a millenium. We should be aiming to re-establish that. Syria's population increase from 4 million to 25 million in three generations creating disenfranchised youth generated the divisive situation but that is rarely discussed in the media.
