Hi guys. The radio on my 360 has stopped working in that the head unit display is fine but there's no sound from the speakers. Any ideas?

Is their an amplifier fitted as standard in 360's ?
find out where it is and check fuse for amplifier.
try a small battery on the back of speaker terminals to see if they make a click noise - that will tell you if you have blown speakers - unlikely you will have done, usually one may fail but not all.

Accidental press of mute or the secondary mute on the TP button (see radio manual) perhaps

Thanks JR. My car didn't come with a radio/ hi fi user manual. Could you give me more info on the mute buttons or point me in the direction on where I might get hold of a manual..smile

Press volume and/or TP button - online sources for manuals have recently been suppressed.....

As above, hit the "TP."if that doesn't work, Stick your head under the passenger side of the dash. You will see a blue and yellow plug on the back of the radio. Give if a wiggle as sometimes they work loose, and it's the plug that feeds the speakers.
If that doesn't work, use the battery switch in the front of the car, off then on again then re-set the radio code (white card, in your book pack) and see if it springs to life. I have all sorts of problems with those radios, including not switching off properly and draining the battery in two days!

Try all of Cerbie's recomendations above, if not we have new units without the face panel (you re use your existing one) and we have stereo books, so please get in touch if you have no joy.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I clearly have a loose connection somewhere (although I haven't found it yet) because when I slam the driver's door the radio comes on. If I then turn off the radio it won't come back on again until I slam the door!
