I think you have misread the above. I too have noticed that the audiences seem to have more leavers. I think that was also the case for QT prior to June 23.
I enjoyed last night's. I have never had a high opinion of Varoufakis but thought he really shone. Best programme for a while.
Curse of the i device and stuff. However I think it it still the domain of the shoutier lot. Maybe the remain are meh?I enjoyed last night's. I have never had a high opinion of Varoufakis but thought he really shone. Best programme for a while.

I laughed at that Rayner idiot on C4 News the other week, put up as the Labour stooge against a Tory to discuss Grammar schools, she said, I quote, "Who are you to decide which children are more cleverer than others?"

please, please, PLEASE tell me you are mickey-taking on that quote There is no excuse, IMO that is actually worserererer than mixing up their/there/they're - and that trollop is (potentially) in a position of authority? Words fail meShadow Minister for Education. FFS.

I haven't watche QT in a while but have done the last 2 weeks only to witness how truly out of touch politicans (of both colours) are with the views of the British public
I've never watched it before, but I've watched the last two episodes after seeing this thread. The two women representing Labour in the last fortnight have been an omnishambles. Awful people, awfully out of their depth.Jockman said:

I'm wondering why the BBC are struggling to find a balanced audience recently. When Brexit is discussed, at least two thirds of the audience are firm Leavers.
When the referendum was held, I had a feeling that lots of fake votes were cast for the Remain side, however they underestimated the size of the Leave vote.
Have they had one in Scotland, NI or London recently? When the referendum was held, I had a feeling that lots of fake votes were cast for the Remain side, however they underestimated the size of the Leave vote.
I genuinely don't know.
The BBC admit that they screen the audience to ensure that they are representative of the general public. If the QT audience is "representative" then 75% of the public voted Leave.
That might just be that the politically arrogant self-satisfied part of the local population consider it beneath them to rub shoulders with the only group that could or would challenge them on relatively equal terms. Without the back-up of a readily available in-house political machine to fend off justified criticisms, the infamous moaning Jeremiahs and generally gobby menopausal self appointed dinosaurs would sink without trace. The parlous state of the opposition should give the PM the confidence to call a snap election and see them all of in one fell swoop. 18 points ahead? Double it.

Seven years ago yesterday. Time flies, doesn't it.

75% of the public is 46 million.
But I see now that I misread what DOn wrote I think. That if the audience is representative, then we should have seen 75% of the vote to go leave, instead of 51.

That is exactly what I am wondering about.75% of the public is 46 million.

There could, of course, be an entirely innocent explanation.
I'm not leaping up and down screaming for an investigation. I am just a bit suspicious.

Let's see if the audience demograph changes when they move the show to a venue which voted overwhelmingly Remain.
If they didn't want the audience to reflect the view of the local area, and instead reflect the National outlook, there would be little point in moving the venue around the country.
