Remember, 1.5 million Americans gave their life for the EU project, according to Paddy. On that basis you might think those that survived all those battles and live today would be aghast at this monumental snub by the people in the UK with the temerity to vote leave. They must be organising demonstrations and be very vocal about this , no ? Oh that's right, it's a remain guy once again talking complete and utter crap. Paddy tried to turn up the heat and burnt himself last night.

Fascinating: another week another audience heavily exit. QT researchers are cocking up the audience profiling allowing outers to predominate? Looking at the weighting of some of the recent polls I wonder if there may be a surprise in the offing come June. Or I could be clutching at straws...
Perhaps, like the Scottish yes voters, those campaigning for change are shouting a bit louder smile

Someone in the QT audience made a very good point along the lines that people will vote according to how they feel about the EU, not according to all the pure BS that is being aimed at them by politicians at the moment. Mainly it seems to me by the Inners. Obama today saying 'we would be at the back of the queue behind the EU for any USA trade deal if we exit' is a pathetic and simplistic line he has been fed by Dave and Gideon. As Ashdown showed last night, politicians now have zero respect for the intelligence of anyone outside the H of C. This may be their undoing. I very much hope that the voters will not be swayed by party political propaganda and hogwash come June.

Is anyone at the BBC aware that there is a lot of land with people living in west of Exeter.?

I'm mystified by Obama's argument; it seems to be predicated on the basis the State Department can only deal with one treaty negotiation at any one time. I also observe that TTIP negotiation has dragged on for fking years in no small part due to the unwieldy nature of the EU; true bilateral agreements can and should be agreed upon and signed in months not years.

I wanted to kick ashdown right in the *^#@. He was a right patronizing infuriating twunt.
I think it's a corker of a strategy for the out camp to say very little, just sit back and watch the in camp drive everyone to out with displays like Paddy's!

Watched it...wow...Paddy Ashdown, what a condescending, rude twunt.
Very funny when the audience smacked him down on wanting to leave, best moment of the night.

Ashdown really was on top tt form, getting shot down once by the entire audience and then by the amateur economist. I did enjoy the evil Putin is just "waiting to pounce" scaremongering. He was scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

I was surprised by Hoey, by the current labour standards, almost sensible, that will not go down well with the new leadership.

Liam Fox was trying to walk an impossibly thin line, David Cameron is a good leader but he sucks at this EU thing, just like Osborne. The blind following of the government line on doctors contracts was foolish.

Is is mandated that there will be at least one crazy old bat on the show? If it is not blue hair it is a tent with a turban.

Does the Welsh nationalist know there is a world outside Wales? not sure she does.

It seemed the camera man quite liked the female medical student, how many times was she in shot!

I hope Natalie Bennett, Brian May and Charlotte Church aren't on as well, otherwise my TV's days might be numbered.

Just add from the choice of Harriet Har-person, Diane Abott-omus, Will -uphim-self, Anne sou-strident-bry, Nicky Ialwayslookedsurprised Morgan, Tim scousebutdim Farron and Tasmina -dodgycharity- Ahmed-Sheikh to ensure maximum swearing volume at the TV.

Add Eddi Reader for max comedy value- she was hilarious when tired and emotional prior to the Scottish Neverendum.

The thing that amazes me about Salmond is how he gets away with a continuous litany of lies. The SNP mantra is all based on a huge pack of lies, and Salmond spouts them knowing it is not the truth. The TV and radio interviewers never pick him up on this, presumably he avoids the ones who might.
His problem is that an independent Scotland is not viable. England throws many billions over Hadrian's Wall every year to maintain their lifestyle. Without our charity Scotland would quickly be a basket case like Venezuela. Salmond has to deny these facts otherwise the SNP has no purpose. Hence the continuous lies.
