Good bit of thinly disguised racism there. Whatever happened to the Scotland which welcomes the English and immigrants in general? Pish, just like all their other claims.http://wingsoverscotland.com/what-are-the-odds/

Swinney got torn a new ahole and the deluded and demented bag carriers don't like it.
Best QT I've seen for a long time.
I quite enjoyed last night's QT
Swinney is finding out that "It is not for politicians to dictate to 'THE SCOTTISH PEOPLE'... when they want a referendum.." is losing traction quickly.
And people are waking up to the fact that the SNP need to start delivering on numbers.
I reckon the SNP will still be a majority government - but.... 4-5 more years of bad results ... and they will be a busted flush.

Their window of opportunity closes a bit further every month. If we get by the EU mess, they then have to produce. They won't. And as you say they're fked. Only the diehards will remain, and we know (as they do) they're nowhere near enough.
Watched this and quite enjoyed it, but actually felt some of the best points were put across by the journalist, mainly on the NHS. While the politicians argued over who would promise to spend the most money on it, he is suggesting that it really needs to be examined properly to find out how to solve the problems it has, which seems a good point when someone in the audience is asking why budget cuts of millions of pounds are having to be made while spending is claimed to be increasing at the same time.
The politicians responded, again, by explaining how much they're planning to increase spending.
As daft as it sounds on this forum and I don't usually agree with them, I actually also thought the green guy might have had a bit of a point with trying to reduce budgetary reliance on oil income. The whole north east is pretty much reliant on the oil industry and while it isn't something that can just be changed, a bigger spread of industries would possibly make the area less susceptible to job cuts and make the national budget a little more stable as well. (Probably poorly explained, but I think I got my thoughts across!)

The hatchet JS has taken to council budgets allied with most scottish councils being run by idiots who couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery that specialises in piss-ups means the wheels are coming off even before the budget cuts come into effect.Swinney is finding out that "It is not for politicians to dictate to 'THE SCOTTISH PEOPLE'... when they want a referendum.." is losing traction quickly.

Yeah, he was very good. Without the myopic blinkers of a politician he can talk about the issues, rather than the agendas. The politicians responded, again, by explaining how much they're planning to increase spending.

I'd concur.John Swinney is a liar, as per the majority of SNP politicians; praying upon the bad feeling in Scotland towards Westminster for their own gain.
Timothy Stanley was excellent, very impressive.
Patrick Harvie is an annoying little sod with very little to add to the [any] conversation.
Ruth Davidson showed herself to be, as per usual, a very strong debater and a great asset for the Conservatives.
Jenni Marra and Willie Rennie were good and added value to the conversation. They did appear to agree very closely on the majority of the issues raised which was interesting.
If there are any PHers daft enough to be in the audience, please ask the SNP drone why the charity she founded for the betterment of scottish asian women and that received £30k from the Scottish Government mainly benefited one asian woman, i.e. her. 10/10 for brass neck but 0/10 for moral probity.
