I think I'd pass on Amber and go straight to Vanessa.

He always was a bit odd but I didn't have him down as a wife-beater.

I think Johnny's problem is that he needs to immerse himself in intense roles - mad, bad or bat-sh!t crazy - to keep him from spending time as himself - substantially madder, badder and bat-sh!ttier crazier than any character he's ever been asked to portray.

He was on Graham Norton's show a few weeks ago and it was chronic weirdo.

Apparently he didn't like her bisexuality and lesbian friends.

First world problems eh? You're Johnny Depp and your hot wife also likes girls, how truly awful!

If he does beat women it's very sad indeed

But he also does huge amounts of hands on help with terminally ill children's care homes.
Not saying that counters the other but he goes into those hospitals spending hours on end dressed up in character and those poor kids have some sort of enjoyment from it.

So did another famous person.

Didn't hurt Chris Brown when he did the same thing

What you did there, I see it tongue out

whilst not in the same ball park, it still doesn't justify domestic violence.

Call me cynical, but I'll wait until further information becomes available before condemning Depp.

Not that I'm condoning it, but there's a hell of a difference between throwing a mobile phone at someone whilst in a heated argument (which is what I understand is alleged to have caused 'the bruise'), and 'beating women'.

But when asked a few questions in quick secession he snapped out of it and came across very switched on.

Its all an act smile

Read the rest of the article though, or the other summaries of the court hearing. He's alleged to have done more than just the phone lobbing.

It wouldn't harm his career if he bashed his partner around weekly.

The entertainment industry will excuse any behavior if it's stars are big box office.

Drugs, wife beating, unusual sexual behavior, assault, racism it doesn't seem to matter a jot.

If Jonny Depp was a batterer it'd all be forgotten if he signed for another Pirates film.

The public have very short memories and an insatiable appetite for celebrity in my opinion.
