Definitely not every case. But to many yes, its like Russian Roulette you wont know until its too late. Its a fking dangerous awful slope to go down and those that peddle the idea that its Ok for all are sick.
Its ruined too many lives.
I have seen hundreds of peoples lives ruined in this way - just sitting around all day thinking they're having a great time when in reality their lives are just wrecked

There's only one solution - keep it BANNED.

Those that say 'its all fine, come in the waters lovely' don't have to cope with the terrible problems and fallout that result in the Naive taking up the advice.

Banned or not, it's not exactly hard to find if you want it.

A drug dealer doesn't ask for ID though.

So not banning it would make it less available would it? laugh

Or perhaps they're people who used to use it regularly, along with a lot of their friends and didn't see anyone suffer any of the terrible effects you talk about. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but it is far from normal.

I'm guessing you think cannabis is a bad thing then?

For every person you know or have seen with a bad result from smoking it I'm quite sure I could find many times that number of those adversely affected by alcohol. If you single out cannabis you are not looking at the whole picture and your opinion is therefore flawed.

I don't used any mind-altering substances now but if someone insisted that they were going to use one, then I would recommend weed every single time.

I've never heard of anybody getting such a reaction from cannabis and I know a few users.

How odd that you know 3.

Its a cop-out argument to compare with another substance to justify why cannabis is all tickety boo. Cannabis wrecks lives and causes psychosis and chronic mental problems - FACT cannabis is a gateway drug - FACT

The hypocrisy of the do-gooders who whine on about cannabis whilst getting p1ssed and smoking themselves and others around them to death with tobacco is at an all time high these days!

In your mind there's only two types then - drug users and heavy smoking/drinkers? Are you for real?

No, but if you're going to make it legal to shoot yourself then it's a bit silly to make it illegal to throw yourself off a cliff.

What are you wittering on about?

Some drugs are legal, some are not. All have issues for certain users. It's hypocritical to say one is fine and another is not. Simple enough for you to understand?

it is hardly harmless, having witnessed the mental damage and dependency caused by "its only weed", it is anything but a bit of harmless fun.
Is it possible to be dependent on weed? I'd think there would have to be some quite deep-seated mental conditions for that to be true?
A good friend of mine witnessed his brother drown, they were playing on the canal and he fell from a gas pipe bridge. He habitually smokes weed and has done for many years.

He has a spliff on the way to work. The way from work. On his lunch break... Infact he took all of his driving lessons and took his test whilst high!

Despite all of this he has a house that he shares with his lovely girlfriend, a car, a decent job that he is very happy in and has a very active social life.

For various reasons people want to take mind alterning substances, be it alcohol, cannabis, LSD etc. The fact that some are legal and others not doesn't make much sense to me.

Prohibition does not work. The war on drugs was lost a long time ago.
