My wife's friend is a life-long fan of Esher rugby club. Wife is going with her to watch them play on Sat.

I'd be amazed if all the president's men weren't carrying uber l33t special forces desert eagles etc.

Yes, of course they have guns, many more than most realise. Apaches on standby, snipers, close protection, people hidden in audiences etc

That being said, it does in a way make a mockery of our anti gun laws. Essentially if you're powerful enough you can have guns to protect you buy if you're not then you can't

Yes, absolutely. Usually augmented / supported by Scotland Yard, wouldn't do for the president to get hurt on our turf. No running with backpacks - top tip!

And the answer is?

It won't be, at least not in his immediate radius?

There was a documentary on Netflix I think a few months back.

Was some great footage in the 80's of an possible attack and you see 4 or 5 close protection in Raybans jump into action looking around whilst whipping Uzi's out of their jackets.

Proper cool.

I doubt it depends on the exact town he's in, to be honest. Notwithstanding the universally understood wider application of the term 'in town'.

My mate is a protection officer in the Met; he is working with the Americans, he will have a gun on him.

I'm curious about the Apaches' is this some sort of affirmative action thing for native americans that they are incorporated into his body guard?

Never mind the gun, brown shoes with a grey suit FFS. That's probably what was being attacked.

Yes, but given the gun in his hand and the expression on his face, are you going to be the one to tell him?
