Sports cars in the park @ Newby Hall - 8th May

Hi,
Usual gathering of sports and interesting cars at Newby Hall on the 8th May.
We have nearly 300 cars with just over a week to go (last year 300 registered in the last week!).
We have 563 at Newby in 2015, including a large pistonheads group.

Shame they'd closed the A1 and we had to come through Northallerton which meant a 35min journey took 2 hours as we were late getting there and had to queue with the paying customers to get in.
They really need to sort out the entry thing with people paying cash and searching for change etc.
Came back via Ripon, Masham, Leyburn & Richmond, scenic but busy
oh and wish motorcyclists would realise that when leaning right over with their wheels on the centreline of the road, on a right hand bend, their heads are just about in line with my windscreen.

We haven't been for 3 years but what a great turnout.
500 very mixed motors, beautiful gardens, plant sale, good food in the railway restaurant, blazing sun.
Even Mrs K loved it.

Just doing my day job so pics are uploaded to the server but yet to be added to the gallery.....
Newby are bumping our event to full site now, so we get our own entrance. The public will have to park outside the fence giving us a lot more room. Looking at ways of speeding up entry so engines dont get too hot.
