PCC are a total waste of time in my view..... just another layer of political interference and bureaucracy.........basically just more jobs for the boys. Arguably the introduction of more and more city mayors is exactly the same too.
Looks like our recently elected PCC is hiring a deputy:http://www.spaldingtoday.co.uk/news/crime/new-linc...

The first thing ours (Norfolk) did was to get rid of the deputy position.http://www.spaldingtoday.co.uk/news/crime/new-linc...

Plaid Cymru are more left wing and more pro EU than even Labour yet the Welsh Tories/UKIP want to install Wood as First Minister? That's politics at it's worst however it's not surprising given that odious, self serving and corrupt Neil Hamilton is in the middle of it all.
Thanks to this thread I remembered that I hadn't followed what was going on in Wales closely.Bit harsh to Neil? IIRC there has been much potential dirt around him, but not much has ever stuck? Seems to just be a slightly eccentric character that people think is fair game to slag off?
Anyway, I see there was some controversy surrounding his speech in the Welsh assembly... Sexism row over Neil Hamilton's maiden assembly speech

Speaking after the debate, he said he did not regret making the remarks.
He told BBC Wales: "Je ne regrette rien".

Much as I hate the assembly as being not much more than a rugby club committee, he is here on one ticket and that is ukip. I think he is at odds with his gaffer as well.I would rather that they looked after the part of the world they are on and not look after the party.
Oh look, an airbourne bacon slicer is required......
