On a previous thread I was asking about moving from a V8V to a DB9.
But my local dealer has suggested I look at a Virage. Sportier than a DB9, bit more refined than a DBS, he says.
As a newer shape 9 or any DBS is a bit beyond me at the moment, any comments would be appreciated, especially from any Virage owners.
Thanks
J

Personally I like them, and a good choice over a DB9. But I'm not sure if could have an Aston without the man pedal.

I know exactly what you mean but with the V12 it has a great Loud Pedal on the right.

Fabulous car - test drove a few years ago.

Not sure about values - might hold up since low volumes but superseded by DB9.2.

you may be lucky to find a (new) virage owner on here - they didn't make that many of them iirc

I had one for 3 years. Loved it...I only really moved on because kids were too big to get in the back, so it became a 2+1 and then a 2+0.5 smile my kids are tall!!

Values holding well I think. Any questions you have, happy to share my experience. Great choice for the reasons you state. Great to tour - drive for 8 hours? You will still fancy another little blast once you've arrived. Really great.

Not driven one but I think they're the most elegant Aston of the modern era.

Yep - have one, following on from two Vantages. Love it.

There you are - it's like buses, you wait ages for one and two come along at the same time smile

Tim C estimates on his site that they made under 700 virage coupes, so pretty darn rare (wonder how many rhd?)

Great cars and much rarer than a Virage!

Test drove one a couple years back, nothing to fault and the ride was impeccable. They look the same as a DB9.2 so you have the best of both worlds at a lower price.
