Cheap low profile HDMI graphics card
Discussion
I used to know a bit about graphics cards a decade ago, but as the game has considerably moved on, I'm simply not up to scratch anymore.
I have an ageing socket 775 micro atx board with a Core 2 Quad 9550 and 4Gb of RAM. It currently has a 300W PSU but that'll be upgraded to a 500W one I've just purchased. I hardly ever play games on a PC but watch and stream a fair bit of 1080p content. Whilst having multiple chrome tabs open.
I need a graphics card that will fit into a SFF case, run comfortably, be compatible with Linux Mint and Win 10. However my budget is about £30. The less the better.
What do you recommend?

For your requirement, anything with HDMI on board will do. just find one within your budget with HDMI.
If you don't have games, they'll all do.
Just to be sure, you can use this to compare to your current one:
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/
A second gen (2011) onboard i5 will give you about 300
For example, a current-gen onboard GPU in the i5 will give a score of about 1000.
A very cheap GT610 would return only 350, but it'll run anyway.
Very easy to see the relative speeds, just compares the ones within your budget and see if there's a big discrepancy. For your requirements (low profile, low budget). I'd probably go for something like GeForce GT 720. (bench: 736).

For under £30 I'd probably go GeForce 710, but they do have some 610's for around £22.
My motherboard (biostar g31 m7 te) has onboard graphics, so anything is an upgrade really.
I've been advised to look at the GTX 750 ti and the HD7750 if I'm considering a SFF cube case. I don't think I need anything quite that powerful but will look at the links provided.
Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.

To update this:
I purchased an Asus Geforce GT 710 for £25 in the end from ebuyer. It should be here next week and looks to do what I want but I'm trying to figure out if a widescreen monitor will run on this. Something like the 25/29 inch LG ones. It appears as though some say it will but there is no reference to whether it actually can.
Edit- It states HDMI 1.4 on some sites, not sure if that is a yes or no with regards to widescreen.
