OK - not "normal" UKIP then. That's all right.
It's not that far more extreme than the leaflet published by UKIP Heel Hempstead claiming remaining in would result in Turkey joining the EU next year, the end of the Royal Family, etc.2014 was stated as the earliest year Turkey could be considered for membership, the EU has gifted them billions in preparation, it was certainly a 5-10 year prospect before it became embarrassing in the context of the Brexit campaign and the immigration issue.
The other things in that leaflet are a reasonable depiction of the EUs thinly veiled federalist aims and natural consequences thereof.
Divide and conquer? Have you forgotten already?
"...the Germans, who are among the most vocal supporters of trans-nationality, will use it as a tool to dismantle nation states by strengthening and enhancing the regional templates."
TransManche region, Kent, East Sussex & northern France.
North Sea region, eastern England and vast areas of Scandinavia, Germany and the Low Countries.
etc.
It's easy to ridicule people, but there are a lot of reasons to be seriously worried about the future of Britain in the EU.
As for Jo Cox, maybe there are some people with views that should not become MPs.
Just as people with some views should not become climate scientists.
Logic, not emotions, should rule, and there is a thin line between right and wrong, and so called noble-cause corruption is undemocratic, and most definitely wrong.

Where does "politics" end and "real work" begin?

I presume it was just flying over central London anyway. I would assume that permission for banner flying over central London has to be obtained quite a bit in advance.
But the Leave campaign seems determined now to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
That would be a real shame as this flight had nothing to do with the leave campaign. But the Leave campaign seems determined now to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
The article says that it was undertaken independently by Britten Norman, the manufacturer of the aircraft involved.
But I guess Remain have already shown that they will not let the facts get in the way of an opportunity for gain.

They instigated the whole thing, and then screwed it up. The technique seems to involve destruction and negativity rather than galvanising and motivation. They preach to the converted, every so often you think "they've got a point" then they'll drop a bombshell that makes you think again.
Leave should have done better, they needed the kippers support, then the kippers knock it all down again.
I tend to agree...but was rather hoping the public would be able to listen to the core message rather than some of the more jingoistic stuff.Leave should have done better, they needed the kippers support, then the kippers knock it all down again.

You can call it extreme, but it's only a mild exaggeration, and actually a reasonably plausible depiction of the medium term future.

Why should people with views like Jo Cox not be elected by constituents as MPs?2014 was stated as the earliest year Turkey could be considered for membership, the EU has gifted them billions in preparation, it was certainly a 5-10 year prospect before it became embarrassing in the context of the Brexit campaign and the immigration issue.

Britten Norman, now that's a staunch name The article says that it was undertaken independently by Britten Norman, the manufacturer of the aircraft involved.

This thread has become nothing more than an argument about the vote, and worse, denegration of th victim, despite so many posters having an opinion earlier in the thread that the incident could have nothing to do with politics and was simply a murder by a deranged nutter.
The thread should be closed, and a new one can open when the trial begins.
RIP Jo Cox.

Of all the utter crap that has been spouted on both sides of the debate in these forums over the last few weeks, that might be the winner.Just as people with some views should not become climate scientists.

so it's a slur becasue despite the clear and unambiguous nature of the biased and bigoted nature of a proportion of the 'powerfully built , be-goatteed company directors' from the effluent they crayon across the site day in day out without factual basis or evidence.
Ph-this, ph-members that. This is a now forum trope of the avid 'signaller', and it runs like any other form of bigotry, complete with a recipe of self-righteousness, conflicts of interest and entitlement.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
