Remembering back 20 years to GCSE history learning about the trial of Charles I, isn't refusing to enter a plea counted as guilty?
Not pleading guilty also ensures that you will not get a discount on your sentence.

Do you think he'd be getting much of a discount on a sentence for murder?

It's a mental health issue not a political one.

His defense don't seem to think so, then again, that's the problem with nutters. They don't know they're nutters!

He talks about allegations from ‘several years ago’ but there was also this which was far more recent.

Rumours from the internet said she was in the process of kicking him out when she was murdered.

But of course he became "Saint Brendan" in the medias eyes. So we weren't allowed to look at him too closely. Never liked him. Always had "something shifty" about him. Could never put my finger on it.

Not the kind of thing I'd normally comment on, but I agree that something always set off my spidey-senses about his various speeches and general demeanour. Not saying that he's anything more than just a bit sleezy and touchy, but got to say this revelation falls into place with my instincts now.

Obviously it'll be blown massively out of proportion by the media, so I hope he just keeps his head and simply disappears from public life and concentrates on being a Dad.

You're blowing 'nothing' out of proportion too.

Telling a woman you want to fk them whilst strangling them isn’t really a great move is it. I believe that’s a very small minority who are into that semi snuff st.

I particularly didn't like his anti-Brexit politicking directly following the death of his missus - in very poor taste to put it mildly.
If these allegations are true, I hope he crawls back under a rock somewhere, & at the very least, does not participate in public life with his holier than thou BS. As others have mentioned, there was something not right with him the moment I saw him on TV.
I guess he's not murdered anyone, or indeed committed any terrible crime; its just the hypocrisy that grates.

His kids have now suffered a double-whammy.....
