It just helps avoid any hysteria. These days a kiss can constitute sexual abuse, context is key.
Context is definitely key; although my worry/niggle is retrospective offence and the fact that virtually all the cases have been 'celebrity' ones. Have we seen the builder from Gateshead resigning as he made a drunken pass at someone in Tuxedo Princess yet...?

Meanwhile in another universe where the BBC didn't cover Lucy Powell's comments...

"Biased BBC covers up Labour MP's unpalatable comments and REFUSES to report on them in case it makes Labour look bad!"
I wouldn't know much about your universe.

Well, other than I suspect there are bars on your windows & the walls are padded.

Interesting that he was suspended in 2015 from Save the Children but has just resigned whilst the investigation is still ongoing.............near 3 years later? Has he been getting paid during this time.

Perhaps it is more procrastination from an organisation that doesn't have to fight day in day out for its income stream, like the sort who don't get the tax breaks charidees do?

So far, the recent charidee sex scandals are aimed at men. How long before these wimmin who've been knocking off the Syrian and Turkish lads in places like the "jungle" have to resign or have their mugs plastered all over the mainstream press and BBC?

I would suggest that Jo Cox's family cannot stand the self publicist limelight hugging ahole given that he has admitted he was aggresively chasing other women while married to Joe and after they had had children together.

Its probably a desire to protect the children from any further harm that motivates the family support.

Cheers,

Tony

the Left have created this environment of moral panic and witch hunt tactics. So when its one of them is on the receiving end no wonder people think live by the sword die by the sword.
