This morning I went to vote, and as I was exiting the polling station, met a man who was voting to remain in the EU. So I snatched his wallet from his pocket and removed all the cash from it. I counted it and there was £350 pounds. "Give me my money back" he said. I told him "I'll give you half of your money back, but I get to decide what you spend it on, and everything you buy has to have my picture on it" "OK", he said. "Sounds fair"

We agreed to meet every week from now on and repeat the process

From a blogger who has too much time on their hands and is actually serious. My favourite is the third from last paragraph:

Not a parody said:
Thursday June 23rd, EU referendum day, is probably the most important event in UK history since 15th September 1940.

World War II wasn't won on that historical date, things continued to be very difficult for the next few years, but the rot was stopped and Britain won the opportunity to fight on. It was a major turning point in World War II and is widely recognised as such.

With a couple of days to go, I think a vote for the UK to Leave the EU on June 23rd will eventually be recorded as being of the same historical significance. It will change the world.

Hopefully for the greater good of everybody, eventually.

That's if the Leave the EU result actually happens...

Because that, I am afraid, is down to the rather questionable wisdom and foresight of the UK electorate.

All too often, people vote along party lines and/or out of self interest. Others are heavily influenced by our media, which tends to be in favour of maintaining the status quo.

If you think I am overstating the significance, what is actually at stake here is the UK's continued existence as a sovereign nation. Closer integration within Europe will eventually see the UK Government unable to take any significant decisions for itself, as literally everything will be determined by the EU in Brussels. Well, that's when it is not pandering to French sensitivities by operating from Strasbourg instead...

The EU will even have control of our armed forces, which could of course be turned round and used against us if the population were generally rebelling against the EU. As well we might...

Quite frankly, if that happens, Britain will be no better off than if Operation Sea Lion had been launched on schedule in the Autumn of 1940 and the Wehrmacht had marched through the UK as efficiently and as ruthlessly as it did the rest of Europe. We will be at the mercy of the unelected leaders of another undemocratic European superstate...

For example, there are already laws in place which are designed to prevent media criticism of the EU and which will soon be extended to prevent private individuals from criticising the EU. That of course, will mean that this blog and many others like it, are at risk of being illegal.

It is only a short step from there, to subversive bloggers disappearing overnight and being found swinging from a tree at the end of some piano wire...

I respectfully suggest to the UK electorate and the wider world, that the EU needs to be taken apart peacefully before that happens, with Britain leading the way as it did in 1940...

Vote Leave...
