Say in one election the LibDem vote proportion was 10%, and then in the next election their proportion was 12% (unlikely I know), then their proportion would have increased by 2 percentage points (10+2=12) or increased by 20% (10*1.20=12).Explain to me the Percentage or percentage points thing please
Some people said there was only 5% in the Scottish referendum, but actually 22% more people voted No than Yes (55/45 = 1.22).
