84% turnout in Gib

I'll watching the North East result come in a see if there are any surprises, if there aren't any I'm going to bed.

I've been hopping between the channels.... I can't believe I'm going to say this but so far SKY coverage is most interesting. BBC is pretty dire... but I thought their GE coverage was dire as well.

Say in one election the LibDem vote proportion was 10%, and then in the next election their proportion was 12% (unlikely I know), then their proportion would have increased by 2 percentage points (10+2=12) or increased by 20% (10*1.20=12).

Some people said there was only 5% in the Scottish referendum, but actually 22% more people voted No than Yes (55/45 = 1.22).
