Mmmm. France can't wait to stitch us up and welcome financial services to Paris.

Can't say I'm surprised or blame them - in their shoes I'd do the same if such a gift arose. Still I'm sure those billions in taxes and well paid jobs are worth giving up for the thousands of pounds worth of extra trade with can now do with NZ.

And by the way isn't it funny how all these bright and optimistic young geniuses have suddenly started seeing financial meltdown and misery at every turn, while us grumpy old thickos who were scared of our own shadow remain optimistic inspite of a bit of friction?
IMO the younger remain voters seem to be interested in short term and the leavers seem to be longer term. Obviously this isn't all of them but most of the people I know are like this.
Or, in other words, (generally) immaturity and lack of experience versus maturity and experience.

I'm sure all the French that currently live in London can't wait to go back and enjoy the socialist tax rates that made them move over here in the first place.

Nice selfie.

Sorry it is causing you to go into spasm, but I can believe the French getting one over on some of the more xenophobic brexiteers could lead to some medical complications.

Get better soon wink

I'm sure that you will agree that Nigel has appalling taste in ties.

What do you think of this dreadful effort?

If they go to Paris it will be 2047 by the time they get all the forms filled in to take on two extra staff. That is always assuming the Form Filling Union aren't on strike for 65% of the next 30 years of course.

They might go to Frankfurt, possibly Dublin but not Paris I reckon.

Don't worry, I'm used to Dons posts being weak.

The short working hours thing is a myth. Some French professionals work harder than their UK counterparts in my (direct) experience.

Some here need to update their xenophobic bias.

In my (direct) experience, that's extremely rare.

And some need to get a bit of perspective.

Nigel has hundreds of dreadful ties.

You can see them all if yo just type "Nigel Farage" into Google.

Here is another one:-

I've only got about 10 ties. Farage seems to have hundreds. I suppose that if I got £300 a day expenses, then I would probably have a lot more ties.

Anyway, I'll dig out some more examples for you.

Actually, he is even luckier than I thought. Apparently, he has been getting about £2000.00 for each flight that he takes to Brussels.

These flights only cost about £150.00. The cheeky bd has been making an absolute fortune at our expense.

I'm as outraged as you, rightly, are.

French workers are significantly more productive than their British counterparts, so even with a shorter working week France might not be such a bad idea.

Meanwhile more complete bks surfaces, maybe we all voted Leave because we were hypnotised by Paul McKenna consulting with UKIP about Leave broadcasts.

ONS says French workers are 30% more productive on a GDP / hour worked basis.
