When were you appointed judge and jury of thread content.

Sorry but I am not taking false accusations of racism from anyone, no matter how unhinged they appear.

I'm not, but I suspect I am echoing the thoughts of others.

You have both made your points repeatedly, rise above above it and move on

It was gone quarter past one in the morning and you're on the internet ranting about the result of a fair and democratic referendum? I'd say you're one angry man...

Racist:
1.a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.

How does a poster showing a large number of people in a queue become racist?

Maybe it appealed to racists on a subject they cared about... is that the problem?

Surely the whole uncontrolled immigration argument will always appeal to racists? On that basis can we not talk about it?

Lastly, leaving the EU will likely see a more diverse range of races and ethnicities joining the UK through controlled immigration from other parts of the world... so a 'real' racist would be stupid to have voted leave if they believe they'll somehow control the racial diversity in the UK population.

Really I believe all the leave voters who have issues with immigration are just people worrying, rightly or wrongly, for their jobs... just the same as all the stay voters... most I've spoken to have done so for their job security.

There probably are so hard line racists out there, but to just blanket bomb all people concerned about losing their jobs to immigrants as racist is also biggoted and stupid.

So another day has passed and what have we learnt and achieved on here?

1. Moose is getting angrier and increasingly insulting as every hour passes and there is no news of a second referendum.
2. Mph - no change.
3. It appears others have become more resigned to Brexit - perhaps are even excited by the prospect.
4. The world is still spinning, there's food on the shelves, petrol at the pumps etc. All is not lost remainers - we will be ok.

Same time tomorrow I guess smile
You forgot: 5. The England football team is still unbelievably mediocre.

Footballers getting slagged off was a welcome change on Facebook which has become like an angry, amateur house of commons over the last few days.

Well, at least the pound is staging a little fight back against overwhelming odds of doom. Might get a few more US and Jamaican dollars when I take the plunge to change up to take the other half back to see our family next week.

And it's payday today - yeehah, but the lawyers need paying in the case we are fighting at the moment against another racist slanderer (the NHS, but that is another story...).

Happy days.

Elderly German lady call to LBC

Lived in England 50 years

Married an Englishman, a doctor who has long passed and now she lives alone in an affluent middle class area, and her own neighbours have told her to go home and thrown dogst at her windows.

Also, someone who was her friend from church stating she wants all the foreigners to go home.

Yep alot of angry racist people out there

Sad, but will settle down. Does need "Leaders" to be more visible/vocal.

I know nothing about him, but I strongly object to being called a racist by someone who has shown himself to be a bigot. I will take that accusation personally, as will my family, both here, in Tunisia and in the Caribbean (where I am off to next week) smile
Being part of a multi-racial family doesn't mean you have more authority to comment on whether that image was used in a racist context. If cmoose now revealed he had a Syrian wife or Chinese uncle, would you take his views more seriously?

It is quite possible to not be a racist in certain aspects of your life, and turn a blind eye in others. It's not a binary thing.

In my opinion, that poster has been designed specifically to appeal to the racist argument in the EU vote, and it is the fact that you are so angered by this suggestion that is curious.

All those involved in the referendum campaign need to speak out - especially Farage.

Really? Get an IG account then and short the hell out of the FTSE. You'll make a bundle.

You do KNOW that you can make money on a falling market, right?
