What, you think Scotland will vote this time to stay a part of the UK. You're just not paying attention.

Where did I say I wanted a rerun? Watch my lips, THEY not me, will have a second referendum. I'm English. My family are Scottish and I know many Scots. Jeez it's hard work sometimes.

Sounds like a few of those 52% are already regretting it. Morons.

You do realise that 'a few of those 52%' will still be about 52% - i.e still way more than 1m people over the Remain vote.
More than a few I suspect. 634,751 votes would have swung it.

The Scots Nats may be more succesful in their aim of achieving Scottish Independence if 'they sassenach' south of the border were to be given a vote to avoid having to listen to any more gibberish from that fish-wife Sturgeon.

Whilst there is clear hatred of 'they Tories' in parts of Scotland, Brexit is not a 'Tory' problem c.f. Cameron.

The Scots Nats need to also blame the Welsh and various Labour strongholds in Northern England and pretty much everywhere else outside of London (other than NI) for Brexit.

However, logic has never been a consideration for Scots Nats, relying more upon hatred of all things 'Tory' to rally support and never looking elsewhere for explanations of the circumstances they apparently find so obnoxious.

Speaking as someone born in Glasgow.

Voting out of the UK to spite the English would be pretty stupid and I don't think it's realistic. UK leaving the EU isn't even close to being the same (5th largest economy etc)

Yeah and the UK 'needs' the EU. Oh wait a minute.

They'll vote out regardless of all your "they can't afford to" stuff. Just like you've done in fact.
Once the dust settles and Scotland have a referendum they'll realise the eu doesn't want them and the uk's prospects are flourishing despite the SNPs hate.
Sturgeon will have tied up a deal with the EU before a second referendum is called. They are having meetings this week to see how things stand.

Farage (and many on here I should add) said he'd push for a second referendum if leave lost by a narrow margin. Why can't the same apply the other way around. Hypocritical much?
he is just as much a clown for stating that as the sore assed losers such as your self . democracy at work chum, get over it, chin up , onwards and upwards etc.
I haven't "stated" that. All I'm highlighting is the ridiculous hypocrisy from the leave side who were already talking about pushing for another referendum before this one had even finished. And now they have the cheek to call other people undemocratic. Hahaha, give me strength.
no, you are highlighting something farage said. farage was not part of the official leave campaign . he was a clown for saying that .
Makes little difference whether he was part of the official leave campaign or not. He said it and many on here backed him up. Those same people are now getting rather tetchy that the other side want to take the same route as they wanted to. Embarrassing and massively hypocritical.

They won't vote to leave out of spite it'll be because the weight of the arguments will be seen to have changed. 'Not being able to survive' outside of a larger entity is a matter of opinion and the Scots opinion on that will have fundamentally changed now.

Lobby for another referendum to your heart's content. I'd be disappointed if it were granted, and I still think you'd lose, but I believe in democracy, unlike, it would seem, the remainders. So fill your boots.

But then you would have to counter it with all the Remainers who only voted the way they did because of all that silly scaremongering. Once they realised that Leave had been able to open the door to fresh thinking, new opportunities and freedom from the EU, you could find that the Leave vote actually increases !

It's only the Faceballs lot. There can't be that many accounts left now so it'll soon run out of steam and be forgotten about.

So still Sixteen million short then rofl

All it will do is tell us how many people in the UK don't believe in democracy.

Results would suggest, somewhere around 48%.

On what basis do they think being part of the EU gives a better chance of survival than being part of the UK? And would the EU want another member whose deficit is running at 10% or so of its GDP?

I know the UK has subsidised Scotland but then, they are already part of the UK. Would they be invited to join if they weren't?

Leave vote last week up to 17.4 million already.

These petulant people insist on being taken seriously when they're too thick (or, rather, self-entitled) to understand the rules of the game. It's no wonder most of our political class treat us all with contempt.

These people don't want democracy. They want a dictatorship that happens to align with all of their personal viewpoints.

Yeh - good luck with that one.

I reckon if they get about 18 million signatures they may have a case.
