Are you volunteering to work ...
So they're creating demand for more jobs?

Edit: and presumably paying for them with their taxes

Maybe the sort of people who made up the 90% of workers before they were displaced by the polish.
Without contacts,

Especially when agencies bypass British workers and only advertise aboard.
There's a reason they do that, you should speak to the British management that decide it and not try to portion blame on the result of it.
Yes because most are zero hour jobs with no benefits and no job security and that's why companies use agencies, sports direct springs to mind. It's just a fight to the bottom which isn't good for anyone apart for company and agency.
Yet those that fill the jobs get the brunt, whilst those who decide get rich decide our futures.

Yes but most people don't blame the immigrants but the policy of open uncontrolled immigration which ultimately ends up with a race to the bottom. I'm positive most Brits would have no problem with a controlled immigration policy which could work for everyone on a level playing field.

So propose how it would work, and how you would deal with refugees fleeing for their lives, we currently live a privileged life in this country where we have never been subjected to tyranny or war in most peoples lifetime.

Yes, what a good idea. Now remind me, what was the reaction on here when a group of primary school children were sent on a day trip to a mosque?

Ah yes, I remember, everyone was universally supportive and said that it was a great idea. No racist bigots here.

Cultural education is a great thing but see what happens when you offer it.

I thought there would be a lurch to the right if we voted out, the only bit where I was wrong was that I didn't think that it would happen so quickly.
So you beleive raisim cannot be solved?
No. Where did I say that?

The race card has been played, no surprise really it's the only way some can try and win debates.
The thread is about racism - you can't use the 'play the race card' as a defence, you actually need to engage in the argument.

One of the amusing things I encounter is that my name looks quite foreign - my first name is a Germanic spelling of a Christian name and of course I have my vermin surname - and I always can hear a note of surprise in their voice when people hear my northern accent. I can almost see the mental gears crunching.
Doesn't help that when I cut my hair short I look like an east European gangster.

Did this silly behaviour exist before last Friday? Does it occur at so many football games?

Yes, I am quite used to it to be honest. My other half has a Polish name despite being born in Wales, and she gets it too.

I expect, hope, things will settle down soon. You should complain to the Police is you/yours have faced abuse.

As mentioned there was a thread on here about kids going to a mosque for a few hours and the reaction was ridiculously over the top for what was basically a school day-trip.
Actually, it was all about sexism being ignored under the banner of political correctness and overt "tolerance" from what I remember. Particularly whether people thought it was ok for JUST the 8 year old girls to be asked to cover their heads and wear trousers when they are there.. When they weren't Muslim and weren't "of age".

And of course it wasn't and isn't.

My local council recently ran a programme to get more 16-24 Scottish people to work. They were even paid the travel expenses and as far as I know it was a failure as many youngsters found showing up on time too difficult, let alone doing any actual work.
so, so , so so, true. i have previously run numerous courses for unemployed in east anglia over 5 years. i can categorically state every course member was white local english - zero jonny foreigners (they were too busy out working).

- all bhed about EU migrants taking their jobs
- all were unemployable from the moment they left primary school with attitudes towards learning and social behaviours that were totally unsavoury
- most ended up getting sanctions due to late/no arrivals on course due to ill/doctors appointment/hospital appointment/ gran man ill/dead phantom job interview/'bus never showed/just simply couldn't be bothered

if you want to point the finger to why we have this immigration 'problem', start with the lazy white english costing welfare a packet year after year after year.

however i really look forward to them now taking back those jobs the 'immigrants' 'stole'......but don't hold your breath.....

Disagree and I don't want a city like Wolverhampton being built every year to accommodate more immigrants,
Are you volunteering to work in the hospitals, care homes, shops, taxis, bus driving etc etc - no, I thought not. We need to curb the number of immigrants, particularly those with rights to travel freely through the EU, but I'm guessing it's actually those brown faces you don't like.

I'm late to the party with this one but by christ you write some crap silver nob - silvernoble

Unfortunately I think you are right and we will never ever get a government that will make them do "work" for their "support"

Most of the "benefits cultures" that I know round here voted out because of immigration however the reason is not "immigrants stole jobs" it actually because they potentially "steal their benefits"

When you have a single mother with 6 kids by different fathers her aim in life is to ensure that housing is provided for her children to produce more

I'd love to say it was "turkeys voting for Xmas" but unfortunately most politicians are vegetarian so it's never gonna change

I still know that immigration locally has generated other issues

exactly

It's an unfortunate truth , Yes some of it is a product of the creation of an underclass of britons who would keep voting for Labour as long as 'boom and bust' remained abolished, but there is an underlying longer term issue ...

this is before considering the now 4rd and 4th generations of learned worklessness and helplessness in some places ... ironically places where there are huge numbers of jobs - often filled by accession state nationals being bussed in from the closest big cities ... becasue the locals refuse to take these 'demeaning' jobs , don;t get the idea that 12 weeks - 6 months on agency is in fact the longest and most effective job interview going ...

That's the thing about PH that some people don't realise - it's very pro equality and women's rights. And also animal welfare.

In certain circumstances.
