I do find it very weird, bordering on disturbing that you have scum doing stuff like this and people seem to be seriously suggesting that actually it's "remainers" doing it to try to discredit "leavers".
Goes to show the intellectual abilities of those on the other side.
Blanket statements like that don't help.

I voted remain, I don't for one minute think it's a typical view of what "leave" think.

Very cool with it as they all intend to go home eventually anyway, shame as the Polish women in the gym are far better to look at than the Brits.
Not the ones I know. Life's generally better in the UK, so they are stopping.
Nope these guys are well educated with good jobs back home it's just they earn more in a chicken factory in the UK, they are using the money earned to buy property back home and good luck to them.

Utter crap, when we leave the EU we can choose who we welcome into this country.
This will mean we can choose the, necessary, hard working ambitious people who have chosen to throw in their lot with us.
It's unfortunate that we won't be able to shift the shiftless unemployed aholes who currently drain our economy. We will however have the mandate to deal with them.
How is what you said, different to what I said ?

The more we give this bandwidth, the more fuel we give to these low mentality morons to go around giving foreigners a hard time on the train, in a bus or just walking around.

Catch them and punish them severely, something we are not very good at.

The bright ones I know in the factories are now managers, supervisors, etc. My ex next door neighbour is one such, started out as a grunt installing lighting in shops, he's got something about him so he now runs the jobs while the new grunts do the fetching and carrying and screwing together. He's bought a nice house in Wakey, has a wife, a baby on the way and a dog that's certifiably insane but great fun. He's not going back to Poland anytime soon.

In that I recognise the need for a balanced working economy, In that I recognise the need for workers who do not currently exist in this country, In that I realise my country and economy is dependent ot migrant labour. In that most of the leave voters are not racist.

I'm a feckless career dole scrounger, and tomorrow you're turning off my money. You've said you'll give me tax credits and other help, if I choose to work.

I don't want to work. So what now?

Will crime go up? I'm not going to disappear, I just don't want to work and you can't make me. There's no police left so I could do a lot of misery on honest folk, stealing their stuff, mugging them. Chances of getting caught? There's loads like me, you might catch a few of us but nothing serious.

So what next?

Back in the real world, I'm alright paying a few quid extra for these guys because honestly, I feel like Glasgow is safer today than at any point in my life. Certainly incomparable to the 30s or even as recent at the 60s and 70s.

Another point - why should it be put onto small businesses to rehabilitate the bad attitude types?

If they have a choice between a Pole who just gets on with it and a sack of trouble, why do they need to keep trying to support the local trouble? They're not a charity.

Friend of mine just witnessed another case of racist abuse.

Tram in Manchester. Ch. 4 news have the footage. Loyal patriot hurling abuse at man who looked foreign. Twlling him he was going to get deported etc.

The results seem to have given legitimacy to some very unpleasant views.

It wasn't the usual scrote mouthing off. Absolute certainty that they would be gotten rid of. Very disturbing.
How many reports of no racist abuse do you expect to see on the TV?

It would be nice to see no racist abuse cases reported on tv if they didn't exist, wouldn't it?

On the plus side, all the nasty little racists are lifting their heads above the parapet. Makes them easy targets to pick off!

Lets hope these scruffy little bds receive a swift and just punishment.

I'd like to see no reports of any abuse. Fact is that reported abuse is up 57% since Thursday (source - BBC).

This is a horrible unintended effect. Nasty. I utterly condemn all racists, as I am sure, do all PHers.

What did you expect? The campaign for many was about one issue, we all know which one. Once the great British public conflates 2 issues, it's done. A great number of people on Thursday were voting "no immigrants", like it or not. Having seen that 52% of the population appear to agree with them, then their views become legitimate in their own minds. I don't like this any more than anyone else but there's going to be more of this.

- Watches video
- Sees usual scrotes mouthing off

I see an incident happened but apart from some of the language it was one of the usual suspects doing what they always do? I doubt they even knew there was a referendum on.

Even if true +57% of something very small is still very small. No one likes a racist, perspective is called for though.

I reckon if you are at the receiving end of it then it might be a bit of a different story. And much less of a minor issue.

Same friend has noticed it get worse - used to be a monthly thing. It's not happened every day since the ref. Now the people doing it probably didn't even vote. But they feel that they now have a mainstream voice. And that is going to cause some pretty serious issues.

Brushing it under the carpet, or making up some bizzare conspiracy, will not do anything to deal with the problem.
