I personally haven't witnessed anything locally during/post Brexit (overtly related to Brexit) & the local jungle drums (excuse the expression) haven't either - only solidarity with people of foreign heritage.

However, it really isn't nice being labelled as a group - the whole thing is acid. Although there is a certain irony in the social justice types spouting such things, I'm hoping that good & decency will eventually prevail.

Let's hope good and decency does prevail mate. For my melanin enriched sprogs!

Not quite, but all too often we hear of bystanders ignoring such fairly obvious actions - in this difficult phase, more vigilance would likely avoid some of these low threshold actions.

The police requesting public intervention is a dangerous thing.

What an odd post. Those morons on the bus were shouting abuse at the guy because he looked foreign. It turns out that abused guy was born here, and spent 7 years in the military. How more integrated can you get?

I was born here. However, I have an Irish accent. A couple of months ago Breadvan72, a barrister, told me that I was as British as anybody else.

So, I explained to some people that I was out Beagling with that I was as English as they were.

The answer was "fk off Murphy" - accompanied by much laughter, from a large crowd.

Was I racially abused?

A friend of mine when he found out I was voting remain went mad, telling me about "the fking poles" or the "dirty Romanians" He'd tell me how his area has changed beyond all recognition because of these fking foreigners.

Daily he'd contact me on whatsapp with pictures of dumped furniture in his street or what he deemed Romanians selling fake iphones on the roadside begging me to change my vote by saying the government do jack this is the only way to take our country back.

I told him I didn't appreciate what he was saying and asked him to stop, I reminded him as a sikh he would have been subject to the same 40 years ago and he should know better.

Not sure if they were trying to be funny, but given it was three big blokes shouting at 3 women I'm not entirely convinced.
