I think the UK public may have had a wizard of oz moment, I know I have.
The question is where from here? More pointless and more decisive democracy? A dictator? A commission style centralised board? A return to monarchy? Anyone know?
If it (the Oz moment) can be sustained into following through on this result, and then into the next elections maybe the politicians will have to wake up and start listening to their constituents more than the party whip. The question is where from here? The resigning of positions in the shadow cabinet strikes me as a bunch of people who aren't up for this. Maybe Corbyn knows his voters and will replace them all with people who are more prepared to listen?
I don't agree with the man's politics, but maybe he can change the face of politics after all. We'll see.

Does Labour really have anyone suitable to take over ? - I'm sure that nice Mr Blair will be ready to give loads of advice - and possibly stand for leader himself......

Really? The man who in the phone hacking inquiry was more concerned with being the centre of attention than finding out any facts? For me he embodies everything wrong with UK politics.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
