I think the UK public may have had a wizard of oz moment, I know I have.

The question is where from here? More pointless and more decisive democracy? A dictator? A commission style centralised board? A return to monarchy? Anyone know?
If it (the Oz moment) can be sustained into following through on this result, and then into the next elections maybe the politicians will have to wake up and start listening to their constituents more than the party whip.

The resigning of positions in the shadow cabinet strikes me as a bunch of people who aren't up for this. Maybe Corbyn knows his voters and will replace them all with people who are more prepared to listen?

I don't agree with the man's politics, but maybe he can change the face of politics after all. We'll see.

He was seen at Heathrow yesterday (inbound).

Which current Northern Labour seat will be uncontested in a few weeks....?
Now that is an interesting thought. Has he expressed his opinion on the EU ?

Really? The man who in the phone hacking inquiry was more concerned with being the centre of attention than finding out any facts? For me he embodies everything wrong with UK politics.

Chris Bryant, shadow leader of the house has gone now. Is that 10 or 11 gone now? I've lost count.

Are Labour still doing that £3 membership deal?

If so, I fancy Diane Abbott this time.

He has tweeted a pic of his resignation letter. Interesting reading.

God help us all. An effective government relies on an effective opposition to hold it to account. This bunch of muppets aren't that.

But we have to think of the people of Hackney...

S'alright, we don't have an effective government either. Actually, come to think of it, we effectively don't have a government at the moment.

Indeed, but one would be a good start. Big opportunity for a pro-EU centrist party at the moment, without the baggage of LabCon and EURef.
