Sky News have been no better than BBC (before or after)
No better at pretending Brexit isn't disaster?

I called Brexiteers deluded conspiracy theorists somewhere else on PH, threads like these do nothing to change that view.

Everything's great. People saying it isn't are liars.
There is news coverage and there are sore losers ...
Rather be a loser than a moron.
Too bad you're both wink

I have a new game to play when watching TV....

A. 100 points every time they interview a person who believed what was stated by the leave campaign

B. 200 points every time they find a person who utters the words "take back my country" and then says "the immigrants have taken our jobs" when what they mean is "benefits"

C. 300 points for finding a neo nazi who says "send them home"

D, 400 points for every commentator who says "historic event" when mentioning brexit at the start of a piece

and

E. 1,000,000 points if A, B C, and D are preceded by E.

The game had a couple of flaws - I ran out of fingers to count because I set the scoring to high and I've exceeded already the number of votes cast in the referendum for leave or remain in just three days. I need to find a new game :-(
You forgot 500 points every time they find a person who starts a sentence with "I'm not a racist, but..." then goes on to say something that basically proves that they are.

And shoe-horning in a headline about Glasto onto the 08:00 radio news so we could hear the front man announce the decline of a nation...followed by an interview with a very dull woman who wanted to recant her 'leave' vote (WTF was all that about?).
I heard that; the OH and I were driving back home from the Portsmouth ferry* and they had two women on. The woman who'd changed her mind sounded (as I said to Mrs DS) like she was off her face on mogodon or something. In comparison the defiant leave voter woman was very switched on, lucid and knew what she was talking about. She ought to be a government spokesperson.

I wanted to punch the "right-on" Coldplay cretin in the teeth.
Yes, the woman who'd changed her mind sounded decidedly odd.

I watched the BBC today - it was very biased, not sure in which direction but I can definitely say it was biased. There was some news that was clearly biased as it was positive and there was some that was very biased at it was negative.

I was also disappointed to see rampant bias in the weather report which once again underlined a clear north/south/east/west divide- this organisation really must go. This state funded, leech on the good honest common man has never been the same since the move to colour transmission and the gradual eroding of received pronunciation.

I'm not biased though I simply want to protect the stupid people out there who are unaware of other sources of news or, heaven forbid, need to have their minds made up for them.

Nick Abbott on LBC, quite seriously stated that "the older you get, the more racist you become".

I could not believe a professional commentator could say this, or be allowed to. Of course I have complained.
Tends to be true, though. Most of the soft racist stuff comes from the 60+ group.
Oh right fair enough. So what sort of age does it start to creep in? Will I start to get sudden urges to lynch black people?

Will I suddenly turn against my Jewish, Indian, Black friends etc?

My Dad's Sri Lankan also - will I suddenly develop a hatred towards him too?

I'm rather worried now.

The volume of Brexit threads is only matched by the volume of BBC threads.

I see the mods have finally clamped down on any new Brexit themed threads. Maybe it's time they did something similar with BBC themed threads.
No surely not, one biased BBC thread a week is fine.
