CMD...new civil service unit has been set up to prepare for the withdrawal negotiations..staffed by the brightest and best from Westminster...to prepare options for the new PM...Wetwin is overseeing the process but will not play a part in the Tory leadership contest...he (CMD) has consulted 'the devolved administrations' and London and they will be involved in the process...he will go to a summit in Brussels tomorrow but he will not invoke article 50 immediately......it is important to stress Britain is not turning its back on the world...security cooperation with the EU will continue, he says...he also says Britain is in a strong position.

CMD said no article 50 until deal outline is done.
EU leaders have said no negotiating until article 50 is triggered.
So - no article 50?
Regardless of what the people in charge at the EU say as soon as they get a little bit of pressure from companies like VAG, BMW, Mercedes, Deutsche Bank, Total, AXA, Exor etc etc etc.... their attitude will change.EU leaders have said no negotiating until article 50 is triggered.
So - no article 50?

Bingo. Him and 'Call Me Angela' have the whole thing in stasis for now whilst everyone ( by which I mean everyone except those who voted Leave ) tries to work out a way or circumventing the result. EU leaders have said no negotiating until article 50 is triggered.

There's also pressure from some Tory MPs to the effect that it would make no sense for an MP who supported Remain to (in effect) lead the Article 50 negotiations. Which makes eminent sense. We only need to look at CMD before the vote. Theresa May, hmmmm.
