Merkel, Rajoy, Barosos, Juncker.... all either formerly communist or communist sympathisers. No pattern to see here. No, no no!SilverSixer said:

EuSSR
Oh dear.Using that ridiculous meme renders just about everything else you say inadmissible.
Equating the EU with the USSR is simply not a serious position to take.
If you read it all and that's the only thing you could pick me up on....
How about debunking my reasons to leave - you've had three and I've not seen them torn to shreds and exposed as complete rubbish
I'm waiting with number 4.....
Maybe I should do 273 first after all you know what that is already - soft target and you should be able to rip it to shreds

Absolutely correct. The president of the European Parliament is a communist.
The President of the Russian Parliament is not.
Priceless entertainment, please do keep delivering.

The 273 schtick is getting quite thin.

Anyway, in today's "We're making a huge success of Brexit" news, Boris Johnson has conceded that freedom of movement can remain, and David Davis has said we will probably be OK with coughing up EU budget contributions in return for ongoing single market membership.
Remind me again how making things a bit more st and difficult than they were is some kind of epiphanic, euphoric success? It's unravelling day by day.

Wrong again, B'stard Child referenced the (E)USSR...
No he didn't. Don't make it up, you only make youself look foolish. He reference the EuSSR; big E, small u, which you have attempted to invert to change the emphasis. I understand the EuSSR to be the European Soviet Socialist Republic. So nothing to do with Russia then, not the European branch of the USSR.
So there's parallels to be drawn between the EU and the USSR. What is so hard to comprehend without projecting your childish prejudices?

As you appear to be in favour of remaining a member of the Single Market and FoM surely you should be pleased at this news?Andy Zarse said:

So there's parallels to be drawn, and it's a bit like the USSR. What is so hard to comprehend without projecting your childish prejudices?Bloody hell, is this the best you lot have got? Pathetic. Or, if you agree with the comparison, please could you provide evidence of the EU's pogroms, persecutions, imprisonment of political prisoners, forced relocations of minorities, concentration camps etc.

My childish prejudices? Jesus, comparing the EU to the USSR is about as childish and ill-informed as it gets. There's no such thing as a European Soviet Socialist Republic, isn't now and never was. So EuSSR is a clear jibe, equating the EU with the USSR.

I'm tempted to ask what made it masturbatory and a poor effort, but I don't want to hear about your personal problems.
